Is it as punishing as GX? (Gamecube version)

I think right now I want summer school to be over, the primary reason being I said I'd wait until then to buy RE4...I WANTS IT SO BAD!!!
at the rate things are going, at least I'll have SPM done by then, probably will never finish Zelda at this rate hah.
BTW, am I the only one somewhat excited about Boogie? its deffinetely going to a goofy, kitchy sort of game, but it looks like tons of fun. only thing that gets mass usage on the Wii here is Wii sports (cause really, can you do much better than that?) but that game has the potential to be the life of the party, assuming you hang with people who dont suck. will totally be the first few moments of "oh man i look like such an ass waving around doing dance moves and stuff" but its gotta be fun.
Eh...been a bit slow while waiting on more E3 juicyness, but something worth mentioning did happen for SSBB fans: small roster update, courtesy of Zelda: http://www.smashbros.com/en_us/characters/zelda.html
Also, I was bored and browsing around the site a bit, but THIS: http://www.smashbros.com/en_us/music/music04.html gave me some serious chills. I don't think I've ever bought a video game soundtrack before, but damn...

In the context of the game though it works well. And it seems like the track is longer than 1:30, so you don't know what comes after.
Well as the 1:30 was ending it sounded like the tempo calmed down somewhat and the music from the beginning of the game in Kokiri Forest had started.
They should release F-Zero 64 (unless X IS 64....)
That was one of my all time favorites.

FzeroX is insanely awesome, it's the only game that still has me using my N64 really.
It was released, yesterday on the VC, knock yourselves out :D
So I bought RE4: Wii edition tonight and I thoroughly suck at it. This is my first RE since the Sega Saturn version and I absolutely SUCK at the controls. Apparently, you can't run and shoot at the same time, so everytime i stop to shoot my camera goes in the direction that I was running...
I'm stuck on the first level too btw, the part where you enter the gate leading to the little mexican village. Theres like 20 of them all comming at me and I only have like 2 clips.... ;_;
I have to play with my brother and sister watching too cause I suck at scary gaimez. I always flip out and run in circles when a dude comes from behind me lol.
Try being a Ninja Deejay and sneak to the left of the village before being spotted and exploring around for ammo.
Why are you running and shooting? They're zombies! They move at sloth speeds.
That first entrance into the village is a very difficult starting point to be sure.
When you come to the tree where they stop you and tell you to look, go around to the left of the tree, there is a path there that takes you around the back of the houses. There are boxes to break, and herbs to pick up. You should encounter only one enemy, a women standing by a wall, aim for her head (easy with the Wiimote), and you should either get a Headshot, or she will get taken back and cover her face, continue shooting her in the head and she should go down and hopefully drop ammo.
After she is down, you will hear the others yelling, go around this house you are behind and enter the front door on the other side. There will be a CS.
Get the Ammo in that house, upstairs is a shotgun on the wall, save this for large groups as it puts them at bay pretty well. Also, in a case in front of you is a grenade. For breakable boxes, barrels and glass just swing the remote quickly and you will swing your knife.
Now, many Ganados will be coming at you, from downstairs, and from the windows, you can knock the ladders down, and shoot them from the window. There are 1 or 2 enemies with a chansaw, if they get close to you, they will kill you in 1 hit so be sure to give them attention, and aim for the head with everyone else. Once you put down the first wave, jump out the window and move about the city taking them out. They drop ammo and gil commonly. Once you kill enough, there will be another CS and you'll be safe. I died at least 5 times on this part, it is not easy, but it doesn't get much harder... hang in therethis is an excellent game if you get past that.
One other thing, they are not zombies, and they do move quickly![]()
For those playing wii's RE 4, once you get to the Mexican standoff (cabin shoot out) sorta, let me know if it was difficult with the control setup. I thought it was a bit challenging with the normal ps 2 controller simply because they were a shit load of them.
Here is a link to see it, it may or may not be a spoiler: Cabin fever
Infomations on original content on the Wii.
SourceOn Wednesday morning, Nintendo will officially announce to the general public its plans for WiiWare, downloadable games for the wildly popular Wii videogame console. Unlike the vintage games already being offered for legacy systems (i.e. Nintendo Entertainment System, Super Nintendo Entertainment System, Nintendo 64, Sega Genesis and TurboGrafx 16) through the Virtual Console, these games will be built specifically for the Wii and sold via the Wii Shop Channel for Wii Points currency, much like the Xbox 360- and Playstation 3-specific games being sold on Xbox Live Arcade and Playstation Network.
What's more interesting is that Nintendo isn't only seeking WiiWare from established publishers and developers like Ubisoft and Sega. At a Nintendo developer's conference earlier this week, the company informed attendees that it was seeking from indie developers as well. Shorter, original, more creative games from small teams with big ideas; these are the buzzwords that you'll be hearing from Nintendo when its Wednesday announcement goes wide. Fils-Aime told us that while Nintendo, as the retailer, would itself determine the appropriate pricing for each game on a per-title bases, the games themselves would not be vetted by Nintendo. Instead, Nintendo would only check the games for bugs and compatibility, with developers and publishers responsible for securing an E for Everyone, E10+ for Everyone 10 or older, T for Teen or M for Mature rating from the Entertainment Software Rating Board--Adults Only titles like Manhunt 2 aren't welcome. Look for the first WiiWare titles from Nintendo and third-parties to become available next year. And check back shortly with Level Up for more details on our conversation with Fils-Aime.
Wonder what the quality of titles coming out of this will be, and when they'll give us an alternative to 512MB of flash memory. Aside from the 2GB cards of course <_<;

I guess paying 3 or 5 bucks or whatever for these is fine if you really want to support the needy cause.
I don't see how that could be the case, as they're charging you better part of 300 dollars for a slimmed Gamecube.
Now thats a derail, I've moved this into the console war thread. lol
