You can't switch the buttons up in the settings?
You can use GCN or Classic Controller controls but otherwise you can't configure controls.Originally Posted by Exoduso

Trust me dude, the Wiimote feels super natural.
I dunno if I'd agree about the B button feeling more natural for the trigger for RE4. I was pretty comfortable with holding B to start aiming and just firing with A and I got used to pressing A lightly if I needed to shoot something small or far off in the distance. The only thing that threw me off at the start of the game had to be getting used to the joystick moving your view around while aiming. If more FPS games come out for the Wii that control like RE4 than I might actually start getting into the FPS genre.
FPS should play flawlessly on the Wii as long as developers aren't retarded, controller is just the closest you're going to get to a mouse short of actually using a mouse.
The PS3 supports a mouse
You think they would ever deviate to it for game control?
Its currently for web usage I assume.
No chance in hell they'd end up using the mouse for anything but a few 1st party apps. The devs who want to use that interface will do PC or Wii.Originally Posted by Mysterio

Thus why there may be some 1st party stuff.Originally Posted by Mysterio

PS3 doesnt get a lot of cross platform PC games like 360 does, muchless FPS's in general.
What games would you even use it for? Resistance? Oh wait no, killzone? The list kind of stops right about there.
Personally, as much fun as I've had with games like Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, Halo (1+2), Gears of War, etc, I always feel like I'm being cheated on the experience by having to use a controller. Compared to the level of control a mouse gives, both aiming and actually turning around quickly become a chore. Again, reserving judgement until I actually play, but the wii-mote seems perfect for FPS games. The other side of that though is that it does make the games easier (aiming should be spot on), so I hope developers actually crank up the difficulty on Wii games.

Finally called the Xbox Support today about my 360, and after the tech. guy was done treating me like an idiot (is the console turned on, is there a disc in the console, is the console on fire), it was actually really straight forward and promising. Sending out a box to ship it back in, serviced for 3-5 days, and if they can't repair, I get a new 360. Kinda hoping they can't repair it, and kinda hoping I magically get one of the newer 360s with the quieter fan.
lol Xav, if it is something as small as the console can't tell if there is a disc in the tray, I am sure they'll be able to fix it.
Probably just need to replace 1 chip or w/e.

Like throwing a grenade, you did the motion but instinctively the wii-mote went down with you, boom grenade dropped right to the ground.
I'd prefer controlling movement with the analog stick and just aiming and shooting with the Wii-mote. Is that how RE4 is?
Is there anything functionally different between the 2 ps3's. Or is it really just HDD space?
I'm not gonna buy one yet but at some point i'm sure i will. 40gb for games seems like it'd be enough, is there really a need for more?
It's 20 and 60 gig.
I know the 60 has wireless internet, and 3 forms of flash media available that the 20 does not. Good luck finding a 20 by the way, not sure they are still making them.
that'll make it an easy decision then. Here's hoping it's under 600 bucks after xmas.Originally Posted by Po

The 20 gig doesnt have wireless internet (wi-fi) and a memory card slot that supports SD cards, memory stick pro, and a CF card. Also, it doesnt connect to PSP's wirelessly.Originally Posted by Skyylya
Um, I believe they stopped production of the 20gig SKU.
