This discussion reminds me of two things: why I avoid EB/Gamestop, and why I quit my job in retail. That about you guys having to make 10% or 12% reserve attach rates is some bullshit. I guess it's probably not too hard to get 10 out of 100 people to buy, but the requirement itself is some cockshit. Retail in general is horrible work, and I'd give almost anything else a try before going back to it. Right now I work in a test kitchen at a frozen food company, incidentally. Fuck retail jobs.

thats nuts, are people still asking that much? before I got mine I had a few "missions" where i'd go into manhattan and check like 9-10 stores, and of course struck out, and pretty much anytime i randomly passed an EB/GS I'd go in and ask just for good measure. i guess since i got my wii i dont pay attention to that much, no real reason to.

Try working in a mall, in a city where rich housewives shop all day. I had ladies try to get in a fist fight over a goddamn wii during holidays. I waited in line from 7:00 AM for our 2nd shipment of Wiis but because the manager blabbed that I work there, a lady promised to sue the company.

When Gears of War came out, my region of stores had a truck crash in Jacksonville. That's 4 hours north of where I work. That means 2 days of angry pubecent 12-19 year olds trying to cut off my fucking head with a 360 rendered chainsaw.
We had 260 reserves for that game and you can bet damn near everyone of them showed-up, called, or showed-up anyway because they thought we were joking when we said we didnt have any.

Fuck Gamestop as a whole, but their shoppers are fucking rediculous sometimes too.

I'm gonna change the subject here.

While listening to a 1up podcast today, they released some pretty big news about the 3 football titles coming out in the next couple months..

NCAA 08, Madden 08 and All Pro 2k8 will run at 60 fps on the 360, and 30 fps on the PS3. I know there isn't too many sports game fans on here, but either way this is pretty big news.

OMG lol, the hard mode of NG Sigma is fucking impossible. I made it to the boss after about the 3rd try. That room before the boss is ridiculous on hard, with the black suit ninjas...

And then they throw the boss at you, as if he was not already hard enough on normal they decide to throw in the white ninjas ffs.. I died w/in about 2 seconds.

Anyone who has beaten that here is the shit, no lie.

Well first of all, I'm talking about the demo, you are too correct?

And yea, beating it on normal unlocks Hard mode, and the Rachel mission mode.

I was ranked about #4000 in normal, which considering the amount of people who played isn't horrible I guess.

Ohh, I thought the US version was out already. It's already out in japan and knowing you're a die hard Gaiden fan who recently bought a PS3 i figured the US one was out already. Quick check on ebgames shows it's out in 3 days!

hehe i remember when i used to work at a music shop, about 95% of all cds/dvds have tuesday release dates, we'd get them the thursday or friday prior. of course the boxes would say "STREET DATE ../../..." and we'd just put them on the shelves anyway. was nice for me cause id always get stuff before it was out. ahh the joys of small independent retail :D

When I worked at a gameshop we used to get games in a week early sometimes, employees would sell them to impatient customers for more than the RRP. Great times.

I just picked up RE4, it's pretty cool so far, the targeting is really awesome. As far as the battle and gameplay is concerned, I dont' like how it is up close, if you're out of ammo you're basically fucked. The kicking thing doesn't alway's show when needed and the knife, well the knife is a joke. Other than that though it's pretty sweet.

I never really ran out of ammo. A couple times I have gotten low on the pistol/shotgun, but then I usually bust out the TMP (machine gun).

At the beginning of the game though you should be fine. Make sure to pick up ammo that the enemies all drop. It will show a red light over where their body was if they dropped ammo. They drop it pretty often.

It was just one spot early on that i ran out, when you go into the village after waking up with luis, I only had like 13 shots for all 8 or w/e guys that were there.

Well, you have to save ammo all the time. If you are fighting a mob, try to group them and always go for head shots. Hopefully, that will cause them to stagger, run in for the kick, and back. That strat should save you lots of bullets.
