I like the bigs a lot. It's a hell of a lot deeper than the one in Wii Sports...and I like the way it controls for the most part. I hate playing defense though.

Now theres an idea.Originally Posted by Oxyminus

everyone seems to be making the casual dumbed down games to cator to the non-gamers who own the Wii's.
They are neglecting the veteran gamers bigtime.
Yeah well I ended up making money for something I wasn't using so it wasn't that bad...
Now I just need to find one before SSBB comes out..
Excellent fucking game, favorite baseball game I've played since MVP Baseball 04 (which was great).Originally Posted by Vade

Only thing that annoys me is if the computer has an outfielder with 4+ stars they will rob your home run like every time.
Yeah, I'm working on getting better. I love rookie challenge though you can't take your rookie to multiplayer mode. Oh well. And missing a few of the other consoles' features. I don't even like baseball, but I like this game. I had to get used to the game on easy before moving on to medium. But I recommend it, if you can get pass the moderately high learning curve.Originally Posted by Po
Wii Super Punchout (if it were to be made) would be a perfect game in that regard. if it had a more complex boxing system than the one in Wii boxing (which the more i play, i think its designed pretty well) give it different championship circuits, training sessions, whatever. multiplayer of course, and update the cartoony but well done graphics of super punch out, you'd have a helluva game that would appeal to both "non-gamers" and vets alike.Originally Posted by Mysterio
and i've been wanting to try the bigs, but seeing as how im going to be deffinetly be buying 2 games next month, i can only afford myself to buy one this month, and RE4 > the bigs by a LARGE margain. shooting zombies all day is gonna make so many memories!
and I cant see why people are still claiming the conspiracy of nintendo intentionally holding back Wii production. for every system they dont sell, they're losing out on sales of games and accessories, and come holiday rush they'd want as many consoles as possible to already be in homes, to guarantee that as many games as possible are being bought. I dont know by any stretch what their production is at (someone earlier in the thread said 1.5mil/month?) if that were just for the US alone the supply would still be tiny when spread over 50 states, say even half of them are coming here, of course they're gonna be hard to find. besides it doesn't strike me as being inline with nintendo's way of treating their customers. still <3 them for sending me a free replacement wiimote when I told them one of mine was acting up.
I have a picture on my cell phone of me standing next to 100 nintendo DS's. I'm 6'3 and they were stacked up a few feet higher than me.Originally Posted by ertyu
They all sold in 2 days, because word has spread that we were the only EB games within 50 miles who had them.
And this is Nintendo DS's that I'm talking about. No one could find them untill February at the earliest.
RE4 is making me really excited for whatever FPS type game they come out with, the targetting and shooting is 100x more fun than any other i've ever played and i love socom on the ps2. I'm not a huge fan of military type games like call of duty and whatnot, but that's cause the controls always bothered me targeting, if it's better on the wii i might like it a lot more.
I know it's probably buried a few pages back, but is there a release date yet for metroid?
Heh, this probably sounds dumb, but when I get my Wii (FedEx estimates this Saturday), I'd love it if there was a Wii-mote fishing game out there. Is there?
Yep, Rapala Tournament Fishing.Originally Posted by Norelco

Zelda has some fishing minigames too, lol.
Can the PS3 be used as a media box? Ie streaming divx/h264 from a PC? Transcoding of any kind doesn't count!
[quote=MF Perm]Oh yeah, I knew about that, but I'd like a stand-alone for some tournament style fishing. There was this game out for Sega Genesis I believe called King Salmon or something. That game was hella fun.Originally Posted by Semitry
Next price drop I'm getting one. If they release and OMFG amazing game or two I might get it sooner.Sony are now selling North American PS3’s at US$499.99 , US$100 cheaper than last week.
Suddenly the sales seem to be coming for Sony. Lower the price and they will come.
On the Amazon.com Movers & Shakers screen currently, the 60GB PS3 at the new price is ranked number 1 in Video Game sales (was 26th) with an increase in interest of 2500 percent.
It would seem that the sales valve has been released, all those people patiently waiting for this moment have rushed online to purchase the next generation of the PlayStation brand.
Now that the pricing question has been answered, the next interest will be in whether Sony makes any money from the sales. Hardware wise Sony lose money on the PS3, now they are losing even more.
Will they make it back in games sales? Current attachment rate is 2.18 games per console sold, slightly above the Nintendo Wii, but down on the 4 or so per Microsoft Xbox 360. Add to this, that currently there are only a comparatively small number of compelling titles available to the PS3, the answer is not in the short term.
Maybe the big bucks will come back in the form of Blu-ray movie sales? Once again the PS3 becomes a cheap alternative for those wanting simply to get into the High Definition movie disc world.
While they are losing money on Hardware sales, they basically just threw more Blu-ray players into people's homes.
My first DVD Player was a PS2 although people said it sucked, I thought it was pretty good. That thing plays everything (bootleg DVDs)
A lot of people are forgetting that you can't find bluray movies on bootleg, lol. Unless you want to pay $30 for a movie that you saw 2 months ago in theatres...Originally Posted by Shinebox
Rapala fishing for the Wii is an absolutely pitiful game.
It's the only other game I've played on the Wii aside from Zelda.
Zelda has far superior fishing to that excrement of a game called Rapala, wait until you play it, you're gonna laugh.
I'll take your word for it. Hopefully something better comes out.Originally Posted by Mysterio
Yes the game has terrible control, appalling graphics, and it's one long lame run of Rapala fishing advertisements which are not needed.
Since when do you go to the tackle shop to buy gear and the only crap they have available are Rapala gear? in Rapala fishing of course!
I dare someone to rent it
