Yea I tried the demo too and I thought I would pick it up, but I don't really see a reason. I did enjoy the demo and all, but I figured if I want to play some Street I will get the first one.

All the customization available in that game with all the unlockable styles/dunks/retro jerseys for your created guy was so much fucking fun. You know? And I don't think this first version of "Next Gen Street" will have all that available.

Yeah lol, I remember how amazed I was at the graphics (it was right when PS2 came out, and the graphics difference between PSX and PS2 was so incredible lol.)

But yeah, this game just doesn't do it for me... it doesn't feel the same as the original first one felt (hell, I didn't like the 2nd one either, and I just stopped buying them after that.)

I was hoping for this to be pretty good, and it's not that it's bad, but it's just boring (and the tricks aren't as fun to do as they were in the first game.)

@ Exoduso. Yar, i know that Winning Eleven just came out on Xbox... but really? I think it is crap! I played the demo on XBoxLive for a few hours and I have to say i was amazed at just how much worse it seemed than either the Xbox1 version of 9, or hell... the PSP version of 10!

It was just so clunky =( Breakaways seemed near impossible (even for a very very short burst), the graphics are nearly what i expected from its "next gen" debut... so sad.

It is too bad really, i have enjoyed that series for quite a while, and i just don't understand how WE could have gotten worse like that.

Oh well, WE10 on PSP is fun as hell. And my League on Xbox1 is still dominating everyone around (once i traded Beckham out that is =P)

Ok, and as a bit of a tangent, albeit a Wii related one. I received my order from Ebgames.com last night, and opened up my Wii Charge Station from Nyko... only to find that it had somehow COMBUSTED inside the package. I opened it and immediately smelled burnt plastic, pulled out the charge base and noticed that the cord had been nearly burnt through in one spot... with absolutely NO signs of burning on the outside of the package.

It was almost like something corrosive or caustic had gotten in the plastic shell packaging initially... and it melted part of the cord and part of the paper INSIDE... so so odd.

Needless to say the customer service rep thought i was insane...

lolNyko, that is all... their fucking intercooler almost burned my 360 motherboard a week after I purchased the damn system... crappiest things ever, which is why I won't buy their charge station.

As for WE10, it took me a good while to get used to everything since I never played it on the 360, but I actually enjoy the PS2 version more because I'm used to the controls (even though I only play it at my cousin's since I refuse to buy the same game twice..). For some reason the 360 version got messed up sadly, but i've already gotten used to it so it doesn't bother me now.

Hmm, well i could probably check out the PS2 version. But really i see no reason to. The PSP version is teeny, but it is a lot of fun. A bit less customization offered of course, but i don't mind.

You check out the GRAW2 Online demo on Live? Or ... i forget what the other one just added was. Oh, right... Star Trek.

lol yesterday was the first time in MONTHS that I even turned the 360 on, and only downloaded the NBA Street demo (which again, I think isn't as great in comparison to the original street games.)

XD >.> yeah, sadly my 360 has been solely my 3 year old daughters DVD player as of late. But last night i did get on... and sat and watched the FFXI update take 6 hours -.-

That was fun. I always expect my 360 to just explode at some point. As it is already, certain discs make a very peculiar sound. It is very hard to explain, but basically as soon as I start up the 360 with the FFXI disc in it (set to boot up to "desktop" not auto boot the disc) it starts spinning, then you hear it stop spinning and The Sound™

It just kind of sounds like (and oh this should sound quite technical =P) the "disc spinner" stops, but the disc is going so fast that it spins for a second longer and THEN stops.

Yeah... fun times.

I wish the 360 was more like the PS3... PS3 is so quiet, but the 360 makes too much noise when playing games on it.

Yeah, i have thought about modding it and applying a dampener but... i just really don't want to mess with it that much. I am just used to it now i suppose.

Oh, and i forgot to mention, i had the Nyko 360 fan for a while... until it started making horrible noises every time i turned it on >.> Now it is just collecting dust.

Mine wasn't even making noises like everyone was saying theirs was, but mine was just killing my 360...

The power outlet on that thing is horrible, and the cord feels like its hanging out, which in turn caused my 360 to show me the Red Ring of Doomz...so I decided i'm taking it out, plugged it back in normally and it was fine.

Shit pissed me off so bad, I just ripped it out without caring for the stupid things hanging onto the back, and just threw it in the garbage.

I'm never buying another Nyko crap unless it's like a cord or something they can't fuck up this badly.

My Wii Charge station works fine, and I love my 360, it really makes a good second system to the Wii. I can play any of the good shooters I want, absolutely fantastic multiplayer, etc. And now Worms, TMNT next week, and Symphony of the Night soon :D

I agree with you Po, more so than with Exoduso, but i do understand his point. I am still having a Non-Burnt-To-Shyte Charge Station shipped out. I don't know if that was a Nyko type problem... or like an X-Files type problem.

Not a lot of attention grabbers for me right now on any console, but i am still excited about quite a few titles down the line.

Then again, i have never really been too hard to entertain console wise.

Don't get me wrong, i'm not saying this charge station is necessarily a bad product.... neither is the intercooler really, but Nyko just seems to be messing up so much of their stock it's not even funny. It's like they break shit on purpose.
