I have a couple questions for any PS3 owners. I just picked up Virtua Fighter 5 (because I <3 Virtua Fighter), Motorstorm, and Enchanted Arms.

I heard enchanted arms sucked for 360 but it was only 19$ used so I wanted to check it out on PS3. Has anyone played any of the 3 games for PS3 and if so how are they?

I heard motorstorm is wicked.

You can't experience all that is Motorstorm unless you get online, that's where it becomes really awesome. Couldn't tell you anything about the other two.

Motorstorm absolutely SUCKS offline, online only if you're going to play that game. (time trial is decent, but the regular offline mode is just pure bad..)

Enchanted Arms wasn't HORRIBLE by any means, but for a first next-gen jRPG it was fine and you should definitely play it through (even though the story is kind of lol and obvious, but it's still worth playing.)

Virtua Fighter is better on the 360 cus it has online play, but if you like the genre you'll like it.

And get Resistance if you like FPS's (mainly cus the PS3 doesn't have anything similar to it atm, well maybe Rainbow 6 Vegas but it's a different type..)

well since enchanted arms dropped to $20 on ps3 it's definitely worth picking up.

but yea, motorstorm single player....i had more fun with the demo, but the online is really fun.

Ya, my PS3 is already hooked up for online play so I'll have to hit that up. I love the Virtua Fighter series and the online feature for that doesn't really bother me but I have a 360 as well so I can always get it for that if I feel the need to take it online.

I was just looking for a good RPG on PS3 and since enchanted arms was only 19.99 I figured what the hell lol.

Anyone here play Motorstorm online?

Yes, I play it more than anything on my PS3..(mainly because there's nothing else, but yeah..)

Another question(PS3 is new to me), but can you talk online via a usb headset like socom on ps2 or you have to use vent or something else?

edit: can talk via headset on most games, usb or bluetooth.

some conflict with the controllers and make the controllers not work, so its best to research your model, they constantly update which ones are supported if one isnt tho, so it may be sometime down the road.

I have read a few post on here not all though. I'm thinking of getting a Wii is it worth it or not or stick with Ps3 Xbox ect.
Please elaborate on whats worth the money.

You're going to get a lot of posts for and against getting a Wii. Personally for me I didn't like it. It was a fad to me that wore off pretty quickly.

Hmm.. I see what about the down sizing on the price of the Playstation 3 is that because there is no one buying or just people making dissensions on weather it is not worthy on the game play and the dollors?

If you're looking down the road, get a PS3 since it will have some very good titles by the end of this year/middle of next year. If you want a good console for right now, get the 360 (which will also be very good at around the same time as the PS3, which is the reason I have and will keep both of mine..) Get the Wii if you like the whole controller thing, or are a big fan of Mario/SSBB, otherwise I'd go with the other two first.

Mostly everyone who owns a Wii also owns another console, so that may give you a wider sense of how people consider the Wii as a secondary console. (even though it still has some really nice games and will have better ones later, I just don't see myself buying a new one before SSBB.)

thats basically it, if your a gamer you cant get by with just a wii.

you either have a wii+360, wii+ps3, or all 3.

it's fun and entertaining when you want to play things differently and just get a general different feeling on games, however, if you want that long in depth graphical game, the wii isn't going to do it for you.

Exo hit the nail on the head. The Wii was fun and all but it's not filling 100%(or imo it wasn't). I have the 360 and PS3 right now and I'm loving both of them. I don't have/feel the need to play the Wii ever again. I'm playing my 360 like crazy and bought the PS3 because of the price drop and because of the games that will be out for it later.

I will wait and sit longer on it and see what ones going to come out on top. At the same sense i wouldn't mind Xbox 360 for Halo 3 will own ^^ .
