Is Super Mario Strikers Charged for Wii any fun? I'm thinking about picking it up.

I played it last night, pretty good. I like it better than the original.

You can play with whatever instrument you get, the rest of the music will fill itself in during the songs.

I'm personally only gonna bother with the drums, since i'll have a working guitar from GH3 anyways, and singing along is just stupid imo.

And the other thing is it will all be able to be played online. So if you have drums, other people you play with would potentially have the guitar, base, or microphone for example. And you could coordinate with your "band" for who gets what component.

And on top of that the GH2 guitars work with it, as will the GH3 guitars I'm pretty sure.

Yeah but GH2 is wired, 3 will be wireless.

I wonder if the GH2 guitar works on the PS2 lol... it is a USB cable after all. (probably not. )

I totally called that about 60 pages back! Happy about that...I think this means no Marth/Roy though. Still waiting on an Animal Crossing character, Animal Crossing has its own symbol (a leaf), own stage, and own items. Just waiting to see who shows up.

Yea I know you did When I saw it I thought of whoever it was that said that.

I am really hoping at least Marth will be back, I have to think he will since he was such a favorite of many players and a great character to learn the game with. Roy I could see being gone though.

Exo - I doubt it is any different at all. And the colors look like a tribute to the original zapper, which is actually kind of cool.

With that said, there is NO reason to buy the zapper. It is a cheap piece of plastic for $20. And the Wiimote is a zapper on it's own. You really need to play RE4 to truly understand this. Using the Wiimote will work perfectly for Umbrella Chronicles too I am sure.

Mario Strikers has me interested too, it seems like it's a really fun game... and with Metroid coming soon..

My 360 finally arrived, and if the letter with it is any indication, its a completely new console. They also gave me a month free of Live.

And you can't really know if it's new or not, don't they replace the exterior for every console they get, just so it looks pretty? If they were just sending you a new one they wouldn't take so long.

Inside was a letter addressed to me, which stated, "So that you can get back to playing and enjoying your Xbox quicker, we have replaced your Xbox console with a replacement unit."

Now, whether replacement unit means refurbished or new, its up to interpretation, but it sounds like they aren't even fixing consoles that are sent in for repairs and just trashing them.

Sounds like refurbished to me. =( I mean, with the amount of consoles going in for RRoD repairs, to be mindlessly trashing them would cost them a L O T of money. More than the $1.3B they're already losing on the 3 year warranty for sure.
