I would help you, but I kind of don't have the game.
Gimmie a min, I'll co-op it if you want.
Toss me an invite at the beginning of Act 4.
Heh, finally beat Zelda: Ocarina for the N64...bought it when it came out in 1998, got to Ganon, just lost interest and never finished it. Had more fun looking for those fucking skulltulla's than I did finishing it.
Anyway, does anyone know what you get when you find all of them?

You may want to hold out for that along with the bigger games.
The bigger harddrive you can get yourself, but a 2.5" laptop 120 gig drive for like 125 bucks and install it yourself.
the instructions to do a self install of a different harddrive are actually included in your PS3 user manual.
The price sure as hell won't be going up, so waiting can't hurt.
I was tempted to buy the 60gig at $499, but I know the system is going to get cheaper within the next 6 months anyway.
Problem is Xav, Sony let slip at the end of E3 that they are going to be phasing out the 60 gig altogether. And the catch is that all the 80 gigs will come with the gay PS1/2 emulation. So we don't have much time left to get "true" backwards compat. Word is this will probably happen by October.
I would say this... if you want a PS3, and like your PS2 games/don't feel like keeping your PS2 around as well, then buy the PS3 now.
The 40GB version supposedly won't have any backward compatibility at all. And by the time MGS gets released, there could be 2 price drops with the 65nm or 45nm chips in. Hopefully they'll redesign it as a slim version with removed components and the smaller CPU/GPU. A lot will probably happen between now and March+.
I have the slim black sexy PS2, so backwards compatibility isn't huge for me. Its small and travels well, so if I hit the road I'd be taking that and not the $500-600 massive black system for a gaming fix.Originally Posted by Exoduso

I don't think $399 is realistic at all, even with those changes.
Remember, this is the system they could launch at $1000 with no games and still sell out of and beat the competition.
No, but seriously, losing 20 gigs and the emotion engine, and the cheaper cost of chips inside the system still doesn't take away 200 dollars, not when they're already losing money on the system as is at $600.
I guess... I still keep my slim ps2, but for imports/backup reasons.Originally Posted by Xavier
And unless you buy it on Black Friday (and Sony's generous enough), I don't see the PS3 dropping that low... they're already losing money on each console they ship out because of the bluray, even at 600 bucks.
I don't want my last post to get lost on the previous page, but I agree with you completely about the price.Originally Posted by Exoduso
