What does that have to do with it? The original builds of the game played on Mac hardware, that makes it a Mac game, RIGHT?!Originally Posted by Mysterio
sure Aurik,
I don't really care lol
I don't think anyone else does either, the wii-mote comment was just a joke in reference to what Exo said.
The Wii-mote was built during the gamecube era for the Wii is what I meant, even if thats TOTALLY WRONG, so be it.
If you want to break it down further into an excel spreadsheet for me send it to me in a PM then.

Get this, I hear that the PS3 was built during the PS2 era. That makes it old technology!
old technology that EA has "little experience developing for" according to their Madden press releaseOriginally Posted by aurik
can keep going with the lame jokes Aurik, it won't change the love that the gamecube and wii-mote share lol
Please, we had PS3 devkits back in 2005. The architecture just sucks balls to develop for, and a market of 4m doesn't exactly inspire people to spend a ton developing for it.Originally Posted by Mysterio
that actually wasn't a shot at you, I was referring to current EA.Originally Posted by aurik
And we know the "architecture" sucks, and there isn't a large enough install base to warrant more money devoted to it.
This was discussed earlier in the thread, lol

Big ones here will be Edge, Famitsu, and EGM. Right now, its sitting at a 98.3 average if you use those.Originally Posted by Semitry

A part of me says its only scoring this well because of System Shock 1/2, though I haven't played it which makes everything I say null. Though, theres way too many 10/10's there. I'm not saying its not good, but 10/10 implies perfect, which I can guarantee you it is notOriginally Posted by Kaylia
I think the same (too many 10/10) but, maybe we have grown used to 6/10's and 8/10's ? I want a BG review thoughOriginally Posted by Falconblade

Holy shit at how awesome this game is. The way the story is told is neat. Little bits and pieces here and there from the surroundings, from recording devices and from the characters themselves. I love the characters in this game. For example.
When you meet Dr. Steinman, he's operating on his patient then he goes on a little rant about how there's always issues with his patients either too fat, too tall, too short or too small and he'll point at these dead deformed bodies all over his operating room. After his rant, he'll spot you, and say we have an intruder, he's ugly, kill him. So he'll say little things here and there while you fight him and the AI is good. If you incinerate him, he'll get on fire and run into the water to put the fire out then go back to running around tyring to kill you. When he's taken out, you search his room and find a recording about one of his operations where the woman he just finished operating with is pleased with her nose job, and praising the Dr. for how great it looks. The Dr. then says I never realized how much for face sags.... Scalpel.... then the nurse goes she's not in here for a face lift... then the nurse goes stop cutting...
It's not a FPS, I'm usually not a big fan of them. It's more like RE but with a much better story and atmosphere. I love great characters and stories and it's been a looong time since I've enjoyed a game this much. It's not overrated at all from what I gather so far.
