Well I had heard about this a while back when it was first announced. People that used it said it did not affect their gameplay whatsoever. But, imo, I would not use it while playing a game and just pop it on there when I want to send a message, so it is not really an issue.

Edit - Just watched that commercial and it was seriously one of the gayest things I have ever seen, that guy was way too happy.
