Doesn't bother me much, it'll just play like a House of the Dead lightgun game (hopefully), which are kind of mindless fun.

Does the game have a co-op mode? I know a few friends who love to play that kinda game waiting for our movie to start at the theater. Gotta get into it, standing up with your legs spread apart, both hands on the wii-zapper (gun). Can't imagine it having much depth, but mindless fun is probable.

Well, my 360 of 5 months died yesterday, right before my vacation started, just as I was about to start playing Bioshock. I was only 344 kills away from Seriously on Gears, too

XavierI know you had to get yours repaired - how long did the whole process take? I already placed the repair order, and I got the confirmation e-mail today. I should hopefully have the box by Tuesday at the latest. I really want to finish up my Gears achievements, play through Bioshock and Eternal Sonata before Halo 3 comes out, though I doubt I'll be able to do all of that.

BTW, the new MGS4 stuff looks awesome, I'm really tempted to buy a PS3.

Ironically, I installed FFXI on my 360 and everytime I try to start the system with the disc in it, I get 3 red lights....

I should hopefully have the box by Tuesday at the latest. I really want to finish up my Gears achievements, play through Bioshock and Eternal Sonata before Halo 3 comes out, though I doubt I'll be able to do all of that.

Expect it to be around 3 weeks total, from order to return.

Funny enough, seconds ago I got the "Disc read error" screen playing Bioshock, saying the disc needed to be cleaned. There isn't a scratch on the disc anywhere, and I'm going to be PISSED if the 360 breaks again after a month of use (and even then not much until yesterday with Bioshock).

Going to wait a month just to increase the odds of getting a better system. Haven't had this problem with other games yet, so we'll see. I -need- the system in perfect order come September 25th.

I have no proof to back this but... The first batch of elites are probably defective as well, however, they stop sending elites for awhile after that first batch and didnt resume sending till about 2 weeks after they announced the defective xbox's or w/e and that they would be undergoing design changes.

Right now it seems like every single EB/GS in my area has 4+ elites, when they had constant 0's previously, so i'm assuming that they fixed whatever the problem was in that month that the Elite was nowhere to be found (or at least, one can only hope heh..)

Yeah, I wasnt able to place an order on more Elites for about a month and a half, then they started sending them in masses about 2 weeks after that announcement.
