Probably because there are 3-4 good Xbox1 titles, and all of those are available on the 360 for lolemulation.Originally Posted by Xavier
PS2 has probably the most popular library of games ever? Well it's either PS2 or SNES, but either way.
That is why it's not as big a deal.

Pretty much they just said that the graphics chip remains and that the "emotion engine" was taken out.
360 is nice cuz of gears of war. I dont play anything else on it. PS3 honestly is keeping my pool table level atm. Hopefully it'll get some play time when some nice titles come out. With the wii the blue light that flashes when its turned off gets used as a night light. SO PURTTY!! Cuz the only thing i'm waiting for is SMASH BROS! and i hope they have online play that works please please please....
I hope it'll let you play it with the wiimote acting like a normal controller. I would really hate to be forced to swing the wiimote to play SSB.Originally Posted by Vish
All the systems have something to offer and I plan on having all 3 by the summertime. The Wii though good, is extremely overrated. I enjoy playing it, maybe I'm missing some key game.
The 360 is boring now and will stay this way until Blue Dragon/Lost Odyssey.... I just don't think I have the patience to keep it around for so long.
The Wii gimmick has faded away for me... I don't find it all that interesting anymore, and it has no good games once you beat Zelda (which I can't really stand to play through again, since it takes like 70 hours to do everything in the first place and i've already done that.)
The PS3 is the only one I even consider keeping around as of right now just because of the future games that will be released later on this year/next year (since I don't really have time anymore for this it doesn't really matter that I have to wait), and in that perspective I might keep the Wii around for Metroid and SSBB.
But i'm most likely getting rid of my 360, I just don't find it all that interesting anymore (or its future releases, especially since my cousin already has one and he lives like 10 minutes away so I could always check new stuff at his house... and I don't really enjoy playing online anymore, especially after the horror that is FFXI, so I don't care for that part of the 360 and YES PO I know it's good, I just can't bring myself to playing online games again. ;![]()
Well for me, these are the big titles that interest me for each system:
PS3: MGS4
360: Halo 3, Mass Effect, Bioshock, Alan Wake (if it actually makes it out this year)
Wii: Mario Galaxy, Smash Bros., Metroid
And if 360 is boring now, what does the PS3 have that's exciting, or that's coming out relatively soon?
Nothing, but the 360 doesn't have anything interesting either (whoopie for the 1000th shooter game...)
And seeing how i'm more of an FF/MGS/RPG fan, and Blue Dragon/LO are not even close to being released here, I doubt i'll have any problems parting with my 360.
And like I already said, I don't have time for all 3 consoles...and down the line, the PS3 and the Wii have the better game lineups.
Well in the end, it's all just your own preference. I can't stand not being able to play the big games for each console, so I will eventually own all three.
agreed if i have to swing my remote to play against people on SSB i might as well jus be tryin to fight them IRL.Originally Posted by Huggo

You can use the GC and Classic controller for Brawl, im not actually sure if theyll make the Wii controller work with it or not, might be a bit complicated. Most games coming out allows you to use all three anyway. MK:A is another example. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xucg0sqwmqc
99% of VC games let you use the GCN/Classic controllers as well... before you buy them, there are little pictures of all the accessories you can use with these games at the top right of the game's box.
Bit of good PS3 news for a change, Sony and Immersion have settled their little dispute. PS3 controllers with rumble coming?
linkImmersion Corporation, a leading developer and licensor of touch feedback technology, and Sony Computer Entertainment (SCE) today announced the companies have agreed to conclude their patent litigation at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and have entered into a new business agreement to explore the inclusion of Immersion technology in PlayStation format products.
"We are pleased to have put this litigation behind us," said Immersion CEO Victor Viegas. "Our new business agreement with Sony Computer Entertainment is specifically intended to enable advanced vibration capability for the benefit of the PlayStation gaming community. We are happy to provide our technology in this regard and hope to make technical proposals very soon with respect to use of our technology in the PlayStation products."
As much as I hate Sony, I'm finding less reasons to not to pick up a PS3.
The Classic Controller owns though, its so sexy.Originally Posted by Exoduso

I usually turn the rumble off or my controller mysteriously ends up in my lap for every game I play. ._.Originally Posted by Exoduso

I still wanna play the PS2 games with the rumbling, as well as future games they will eventually release like FF13/MGS4.
So yeah, it's good news.
Oh and as for your comment regarding the classic controller I agree.... it rocks way more than the GCN one.
It has more than just shooters, so are you trying to kid here?Nothing, but the 360 doesn't have anything interesting either (whoopie for the 1000th shooter game...)
What games are the PS3 coming out with RPG-wise that you are looking at? I just can't find anything that's going to outshow Blue Dragon and LO, or even going to come out before them. Where is this better game lineup? I'm honestly curious, I just can't find much, and I get annoyed when people tout this better game lineup with no actual info on the lineup (not directed at you, just saying). Wiki's great for some stuff or finding info on a particular game when you know what the title is, but in this instance...I don't even know anything about 90% of the titles, and there's not enough info for me to say "Oh, this will be something worth it."
Am I the only one who's noticing that this is uncovering yet another Sony lie? Didn't they claim that the reason there was no rumble in their controller was because "the controller couldn't handle it" or whatever? Now it turns out that "Oops, it was just a patent dispute, it'll work fine now." I'm glad they're getting rumble in their controllers, to be sure. But for fuck's sake, they need to learn to tell the truth once in a while.Originally Posted by PyramidHead
