No? We've received two more shipments since launch, I actually got a small shipment today. And as far as the Xbox version selling more than the wii version, I'm not surprised. Most people who have a wii have either a ps3 or a 360 and if I somehow did like sports games, which I don't cause they suck gigantic cock. I would get it on either of those. Most people who are getting Wii's don't want to play sports games anyways.
Hmm, did you track your repair at all? If so, how long did it take to go from "Device receieved at repair center" to whatever the next step is (repaired, sent, whatever)?Originally Posted by Xavier
the xbox version is discontinued, doesnt mean you cant get it in stock, it just isnt being produced anymore.
Another FF4(DS) scan

Rydia be fine.
It actually went from "Device received at repair center" to "no pending repairs" and gave me no information at all about the location of my system. After a few days of that I started to worry, but then it showed up at my house anyway.Originally Posted by Alina
I started to get worried too. I had no idea when my Xbox would arrive; UPS will only attempt to deliver so many times until they hold it at a distribution center, and then ship it back. That happened last time I got my Xbox repaired. I had to drive almost an hour just to pick it up.

The "Gamebryo Engine", the same engine that powers Oblivion, has been optimized for the Wii as well now. No games were announced yet but its another sign that developers have no choice but to take the Wii serious.
MS basically stole my power brick. Long story short(er), my power brick broke after a month or two of buying a 360(orange light on it all the time, wouldn't power up the console), sent them the entire thing including the detachable cable. They sent me a different broken one, except this time it didn't even light up at all (tested with other 360 as well, my console worked fine with other cables). It was missing the detachable part as well, had to test with other peoples. Sent it in again (this time I had to pay to ship it, because the warranty on "accessories" had expired), and over 8 months later and received nothing. Finally call MS for like the 90th time, and they say it was marked as shipped months ago and I had received it or UPS lost it, either way I was SOL. I asked if I could have a tracking number to call UPS, and they don't have it on file, but of coarse they have the tracking number for the first broken one they sent me way back!
God knows how many hours I spent on hold, talking in circles with people with heavy indian accents that couldn't understand what I was talking about, or how many times they made me troubleshoot the damn broken cables. The last time I called, I had to speak with 4-5 reps before I could get one that understand that I had sent them the shit back twice. So now I'm $20 poorer (from paying to ship the brick the second time) with an unusable 360 to show for it, until I apparently dish out $60-75 for a second-hand or third-party brick/cable, since MS thankfully doesn't even sell their own. Will absolutely never buy another piece of MS hardware after this ordeal.
gamestop sells used power bricks for $30. go in and ask if they have one, if they dont, ask them to do a store lookup and locate one that does.
Hmm thanks I guess I'll have to check in-store, they don't list that they carry them online. Just this $80 3rd party one:

Holy fuck, my hand is crippled from playing Mercenary Mode for RE4:Wii, I literally played that for like 3 hours. That is a shitload of fun.
Ok, can someone give me a definitive fucking answer?
Can the 360's component cables do 1080p or not?
I've heard yes, no, yes under these circumstances, no not true 1080p but fake 1080p, possibly, depends on your TV, do you have a stapler on your desk, and it depends on if you've seen porn today or not.
Can it or can't it?![]()
it can, be its not the true hd, which to you and me, means nothing. there is a slight difference but its almost not even noticeable.
and most things dont run at 1080p anyways so its not a big deal, heh
And on standard sized tvs the human eye is incapable of telling the difference between 720p ans 1080p.Originally Posted by izembo
high end tvs are capable of producing 1080p with components, but it's not as clear as it would be with HDMI. I suppose having 1 cable output makes a world of difference heh, I don't really understand its technology.Originally Posted by izembo

Saw this article today, using a analog stick to move while shooting at the screen is gonna be very interesting. Too bad it costs $90 with the gun or I'd definitely buy it without thinking twice. Come on November.
