Pfft, you act like you'll get DW6. By then you'll be like it's not worth it, since there will be so many other games to play and I doubt you'd gamefly it with your 1 game option.Originally Posted by Exoduso

lol I never said i'm getting it... just saying the 360 version is always better over the PS3 one regardless of which game it is because of the achievements.

Theres been NO official announcement for PS3 exclusive content, you're sourcing rumors as if it were credible information.During Microsoft's 2006 E3 press conference on May 9, it was announced that Grand Theft Auto IV would be available for the Xbox 360 and that Rockstar Games will offer exclusive episodic content via Xbox Live for the Xbox 360 version. This had been confirmed by Rockstar, announcing two extra, exclusive, episodes. On February 28, 2007 it was announced that exclusive episodic content will be introduced starting in 2008.
Peter Moore, head of Microsoft's Interactive Entertainment Business division announced that Rockstar Games is working on two GTA IV downloadable packs exclusively for the Xbox 360, which will be released after the full game. Moore described downloadable content as "epic episode packs", and not just extra cars or characters. A press release during the conference said that the packs would add "hours of entirely new gameplay" to the game.[26] The official Xbox website states that these episodes will last a minimum of 10 hours.[27] Details on the pricing of these downloads have not yet been revealed, though it would almost certainly not be released for free, as Take-Two Interactive's former CEO, Paul Eibeler, have said numerous times that these downloads would provide "additional revenue streams" to the company.

Japan is not as big as you like to make it out to be. Stop talking out of your ass.
Japan is only a percentage of the market... stop relying on everything that happens there.

Yea let's compare a 20-year-old franchise with well over 20 titles to a 6-year-old franchise with 2.Originally Posted by Mysterio
franchise is a franchise in sense.
I do agree it's not a fair comparison.
I'm not really trying to mock Halo, it is a good game. It was the whole discounting Japan as only 1/5 of the market theory, and using Final Fantasy games as a reference. The Nintendo DS would probably be a better modern reference, it has insane sales in Japan.
Enjoy your Halos, I'll try not to bother you, lol
FF12 didn't feel like an FF to me... I really hope 13 does a better job... then again Nomura's back (yes, zippers, har har) so it should be good.
It's not a theory lol, its a fact. Japan is one country, how much do you expect it to count for? You said the xbox will fail because no one plays it in japan, I then stated that Japan doesn't really hold that big of a market share and there will be good titles coming there soon anyway.Originally Posted by Mysterio

What does it mean?
Jack shit. Both markets are equally important.
A shooting game will do well in the US? BLASPHEMY
Japan loves them sum RPG? GET OUT OF TOWN
Japan's pretty big, they're like #2 right behind the US I think. Doesn't matter anyways, that's Wii territory along with every other except maybe the US if MS plays it's cards right, doubtful though.Originally Posted by Deejay
No, it holds a large market share.Originally Posted by Deejay
360 isn't doing very well overall partly because Microsoft can't sell shit in Japan. Currently, they have less then 500k sold there. PS3 has 2m, Wii has 3. If it was marketed right in Japan, it would have 33% more sales. Putting it at 14m. Thats a decent boost.
Also, if Japan is just one big country, what is US?
Like hell the Wii is only 1m ahead of the PS3 lol.Originally Posted by Falconblade

Why do they hate the 360 again?

heh, gotcha.
Because the design is ugly as hell. They should redesign (pay Apple) a "slim" version when the 65nm chips come rolling out.Originally Posted by Exoduso
If they do that, the Elite/HDMI Premium owners would kill them heh.
No worse then DS fat owners, or the ones that bought PS2 prior to slim or the people who paid $600 for a PS3 when it drops $200 (assuming $400 rumor's true) before a year is up. Whatever gets more consoles into more houses so developers won't be wary about making games for whatever system.Originally Posted by Exoduso
I love Xbox 360 controller. I used to hate Xbox 1 controller, mainly because it was so huge and I have small hands and penis but the 360 controller fits my hands perfectly. It's much better than SIXXAXIS and this is coming from a guy who's loved the PS controller since PS1. The shoulder buttons are a lot better (with SIXXAXIS it feels like my fingers are slipping when I press them).
I downloaded and tried Bioshock yesterday and it looked really good. Even on a piece of shit 28" TV (I have Xbox360 currently running in my room during the night in case my dad wants to watch shitty television programs from the 42". The 42" is in the living room with the PS3).
