So, I played the Call of Duty 4 Beta for few hours last night, and I gotta say it was really fun. The game looks really nice and the rank system gives something to aim for (more so than Warhawk, which pretty much such gives more customization possibilities. Also, remind me to play Warhawk one of these days, I've been too caught up with my new Fagbox :D), but the control scheme feels really alien to me. It's because of number of things; first and foremost is the fact that aiming with a controller makes me feel like, as Maddox so adequately put, "a shit-chucking ape". And because I'm more used to the PS3 controller, I keep forgetting which button does what (well, this happens in pretty much every game, except Gears of War).

So now I'm trying to figure out whether I should buy it for Xbox 360 or PC... the problem is, I think my computer is going to have problems running it, and I do enjoy the community aspect of X360 (Achievements etc.), so it's a hard choice.

They claim to be running COD4 at 60fps with full anti-aliasing on the PS3 as well, so in thery, it shouldn't be graphically inferior. But since you have both, I'd get it for 360 for achievements and better multiplayer.

Just finished Halo on Legendary. Game is Epiiiiiiic. Way more fun playing through it with 3-4 people. Graphics aren't the best of all time but they're certainly up there with the best. This game is just too good. Finished it in 8.5 hours. The guns were good. Pistol is still nerfed. SMG's are kinda gay too. They added a couple really good alien guns, and the Brute Shot got super buffed, I pwned face with it for most of the game.. Battles were large scale and epic. My favorite landscape would probably be the jungle when you start, it was WAAAY better than expected.

Forge is REDICULOUS! COD4 mulitplayer doesn't seem as epic when compared to Halo. But they're both on their own level of awesome so having both is perfectly fine. I only unlocked 1 of the unlockable armor suits by beating it on Legendary. So I assume you can't unlock the sweater looking outfits unless you rank up...

I like shooters on a console better for some reason... more comfortable playing on my 42" HDTV than on a 20" computer LCD... I can deal with having to use the controller/s over a mouse/keyboard.

My 46inch HDTV is in my bedroom, next to my 22inch monitor, and I often use it for online games. It's just a matter of using the HDMI/DVI wire.

As for gamefly, I use it to see if I should buy a game. Reviews and what other people say on a game don't necessarily make the game good and fun to me, they are just others opinions. A game can be rated 100/100 and it doesn't mean I'll like it at all. I gamefly the game, if I like it, I buy it, and gamefly another while playing the one I now own. However I gamefly'd alot of games and it seems games aren't comming out fast enough to be worth gameflying still. I only started using gamefly because my blockbuster never has new titles.

PS3 UT3 version supports Mouse, that's the only beef I've had with console shooters is the inprecise control compared to a mouse. Hopefully this rectifies it, then again maybe not. Sony may find a way to bork it yet again.

Wouldn't buying a controller for the PC negate like most of the reason one would want to play it on the PC? How would a wireless keyboard fix any of my points?

I wouldn't want to play against people who use a mouse if they have an obvious advantage over those who use controllers. That's gay.
