O snap he's right I am smut, all I do is hype every 1st party PS3 game trailers, stay that Great games sell because there cute, and talked about how the Wii has no good games. I am a true Nintendo hater and a true Sony fanboy 8)

As long as you are willing to admit it (finally, I remember you used to attempt to deny it). Now, second verse, same as the first: I accept your white flag. I honestly don't care about most of the stuff you type, but leave ME alone, and we'll probably tolerate each other, and I won't counter-bash. I may not have the free time to post like I used to, but believe me when I say I'll get around to it if I feel slighted, especially when I didn't say a damn thing about you to begin with.

And about the rest: It's kind of a shame when almost every PS3 franchise HAS to bomb, because I think Sony and MS both already got the message about not pricing systems too high ever again (huzzah), but it is how it is. Even GC lovers got thrown a few million-selling bones by now, and I am wondering if the PS3 would have any now if it weren't for bundles (maybe Resistance still would be doing good), but it is how it is. I don't like to see good games that I am interested in bomb, because more often than not that kills dev interest for a sequel. A big joint effort by EoJ people to make special MtG, Yu-Gi-Oh, and Pokemon-style cards might save it if they can get those three companies to agree, but I think it's too late for the PS3 version. Even promising looking card games flop a lot more than they succeed.

I didn't want to say anything about Kenai and how weird his first post was, but I was at work today and we got the Mario Galaxy demo... holy shit.

as my sony rep said, he's worried about eye of judgment because its a niche within a niche, they have to have a ps3 AND be interested in card games. Looks fun but don't know if i'd be willing to drop the money on it, seeing as how the eyetoy games for ps2 failed pretty hard.

also, as for uncharted, yea, there's next to no interest here, a couple of people have been like "yea that looks kinda cool" but no one has shown any interest in preordering and are all just going to wait and see how it works out. i personally have no intentions of getting it that's for sure.

Uncharted could be the PS3 "Bioshock" in a way, I don't think people really pay attention to bioshock till they played the demo, Uncharted could be the same way but without a demo it will probably be a good game with bad sells. But then again people like Naughty dog games and they are talented developers so eh who knows.

To be honest, I barely knew BioShock existed before I played the demo. So the point of view that the game really gained attention w/ the demo isn't exactly that outlandish. I'm sure a lot of people did know about it, just as I didn't, and thats pretty much going to be true of any game.

Nobody hypes PS3 games at all... the only big buzz I ever hear my customers talking about are 360 games and the occasional person looking forward to a Wii game... hell, we haven't sold ANY copies of ratchet and clank yet. The one guy that had it preordered came in, rolled his money over to transformers for the fucking ps2 and bought that. Just doesn't have a big enough fanbase yet, give it some time I'm sure it'll catch up (at least I hope it does for you ps3 owners )

My girlfriend planned on buying a 360 during the christmas sale crap, and once I found out about that all the urges to buy a PS3 vanished. There aren't too many games for PS3 I'm looking forward to, not even FFXIII and w/e other FF games are coming out. My cousin has a PS3, I played Armored Core 4 and Resistance Fall of Man. I've had my fill of it so far, and that was when it was 'brand new'. 360 has so much stuff I look forward to playing, and from what I've been told it's got a decent sized library of games now. But I'm mostly just looking forward to playing Halo 3 and Ace Combat 6.

Great for watching movies, but not so great for games. Getting data off the blue ray drive takes about twice as long as it does to get the same data off the 360's DVD drive. That translates into longer load times, or god forbid if your streaming from disk, tighter constraints on the amount of data you can stream.

Ignore the apparent bias from me here. I just managed to find this info in a small timeframe.
