When are everyone's local GameStops selling Mario Galaxy? Mine said Wednesday, but I thought today was ship date, then it'd be in stores tomorrow... I just want to make sure I get my coin!

Wednesday would probably be better anyway, I suppose. I work 5PM to 2 AM tomorrow, and if I go on Wednesday I could pick up Confessor (book) and Assassin's Creed in one trip.

I am half-hoping the Gamestop I reserved my copy of Galaxy at gets it in on Wednesday, because I have two exams that day, and if I get Galaxy on Tuesday then I sure as hell ain't studying for either of them.

You dont have to; I call them ahead of time just to make sure theyve recieved the shipment though. If you preorder it, youre 99% going to get a copy, sans any bounes, those are usually first come first serve (like the mario coin). Sometimes an automated dealio will call you to let you know it's in, but I never get that message until a day later.

all gamestop preorder calls are automated now the day before it comes in. as for the coins, it depends on the store, but they're supposed to be saved and handed out to preorder customers, not just joe-shmoe off the streets unless you have extras. generally for my store at least, preorders get first dibs, then extras go to employees, then any extra beyond that to people walking in buying the game.

Most game Crazy's across the nation are doing same day pickup. We're getting it today. Basically all the store managers meet at the airport really early in the fucking morning, we get our orders , take them back to the store, transfer them in, and then start calling preorders and put up a big sign saying "WE HAVE MARIO GALAXY!!!!111!@!@2;!" So call your local game crazy and see if they have it, maybe you can get it a day early
