General gaming news

[Headspace]

I'm not sure if it's been said or not but Toys R' Us is giving customers a $25 gift card when you buy Galaxy tomorrow (should last all week, but they'll probably sell out tomorrow or wednesday depending on location).

[Parshias]

Charles Martinet is awesome. Every interview I see of him makes me think he's like the nicest guy ever.

[ertyu]

oh god that has me laughing so hard

[Falconblade]

Old news, but might as well post here for those who haven't laughed.

It's that good.

[Exoduso]

What's with Peach's new look?

[ertyu]

It's not peach, you'll see as you play the game I don't want to spoil it :D

[Norelco]

ROFL, I just got the voicemail from Gamestop...the same one at that link. I was laughing my ass off.

[Parshias]

I got it a little while ago, too. Too bad I saw the number, thought, "I bet this is Gamestop," then picked up anyway rather than letting it go to voicemail to save on my phone. Oh well.

[Po]

I haven't gotten mine yet Now you guys have me all hyped for this.

You guys think it will sell a mill its first week here?

I think it will.

[izembo]

i dont think it will, it didnt even get 1/8 as many preorders as halo did.

[Semitry]

You guys think it will sell a mill its first week here?

I think it will.

No, but it will have long legs. The Wii gamers are not the type that will buy a game the first week it comes out but you can expect it to have great #s 6 months from now.

[izembo]

yea, it'll be on the top 10 list for like a year, that i wouldnt doubt.

[Po]

Maybe true, maybe true. We'll see.

DS gamers on the other hand... Pokemon diamond + pearl will prob be the best selling game of the year (obviously the larger install base helps)

[Xavier]

All I know is that tomorrow I'll be in a galaxy far, far away.

[Exoduso]

I didn't get the phone call.. ;;

[Taera]

Pretty sure that voice mail is never leaving my phone. Ever.

[aurik]

Galaxy is fun :D Disorienting for the first while, lol.

[Po]

I didn't get the phone call.. ;;

Me neither

[SephYuyX]

Most of the calls I get always come the next day, so maybe tomorrow
