Man, I had a super-nostalgic moment when I went through some of the games on this list and looked up random gameplay videos on Youtube. For instance, when I was a little kid I LOVED Aladdin for Genesis and seeing it again is like QQQQQQQQQQQ. So sad. ;;

Whats so amazing to me is that those Wii sales don't even represent a balanced supply and demand. I can't speak for all regions, but out on Long Island, I haven't seen the system anywhere, whereas, theres always several 360s and PS3s at each store.

And Sony has mentioned that as an advantage for them.

Stringer said Sony is poised to benefit from the difficulty Nintendo has had producing Wii consoles fast enough to keep up with demand.

Didn't help the dreamcast.

Our store has had 7 PS3's in the back for several weeks now, and every sunday we have Wii's, usually about 20-30 and they sell out 2 hours before we open. We're getting pretty decent shipments.

To me, its like Nintendo kinda forgot how to be the leader after all these years. It feels like they are at a Gamecube level of production with PS2 level of sales, and were just totally unprepared to come out on top.
