Ok
I gave in and tried out Gamefly (new shiny Credit Card came)
Got the 2 Games out at a time
Got Ratchet, then Folklore is on the way, even tho I wanted Uncharted/COD4 (there Low Quantity)
I just beat Ratchet for the 5th time
1st time was a bitch trying to get all the gold bolts
2nd time got all the skills
3rd time got all the Omega Version of all weapons
4th got the unlimited Groovitron
5th time was just Obliterate the living shit out of everything from start to end using only The Omega Ryno IV-Ever (also tried to see how fast I can finish the game)....took me 4 hours 30minutes
Total I have 600,000,000million Bolts and around 15,000,00 Raritanium left LOF'NL
I had the x20 Bonus multiplier for so fn long I couldnt stop fn laughing
The Ryno IV-Ever makes you go into god mode, a 900/900 Rocket launcher and makes everything dead in 2-3 hits
God I enjoyed this game for the past week
Lets see how Folklore fairs, and heres hoping I get Uncharted or COD4
(Only reason Im using Gamefly is to try it out, + I just destroyed my wallet..look @ the Black Friday Pre/Post thread... spent roughly 2k+...but got everything @ good prices..original value would have been 3500+)
ffs where have we come... why are you justifying gameflying ffs there's NOTHING WRONG WITH IT lol... and hey look, you just saved roughly 50 dollars on ratchet just by renting it for a week rather than buying the game, playing it 5 times, then just tossing it to the side.
And as long as we're on the Ratchet topic... for some reason I really got bored with it after about 2 hours... just isn't my type of game I guess (it was way too easy and I was just obliterating shit out of everything my 1st playthrough rather than my 5th..)
EDIT: I have a crave for Warhawk right now for whatever reason.. >.<
I love when I get a craving for a game, I'll pop it in, and then I'll just say
"Wow, why the fuck did I decide I want to play this again?"
what does saying you're bored of it over and over again help you acomplish? It's a great game thats fun and addicting, so you don't like it. We know.Originally Posted by Exoduso

Sorta old game... but did anyone play the kane and lynch game? idc which system just want to know if it is good and for ps3 users, anyone get time crisis 4 with guncon?
Edit: Forgot to ask.. but anyone play the new Soldier of fortune?.I was looking at the game and the characters look alot like Call of duty 4(i Know Activision made both of them) but i remember playing double helix(i think was the name) for pc and it was fun
Pretty sure I'm gonna get Time Crisis 4 maybe sometime next month. The game got mixed reviews, think it got three 8s and two 3.5s. However since I decided to never to trust game site reviews I looked up some user reviews.Originally Posted by Merovingian

More or less according to people who have played it, the graphics only had minor adjustments from the arcade game so it basically looks like a ps2 game. The gameplay itself seems to be awesome but it seems if you have a 60" tv you might have some problems running it. Apparently if you put your sixaxis controller on the ground you can use it as a foot pedal which to me is awesome.
EDIT: Oh yeah, don't buy it for 90 bucks, if you go to amazon theyre selling it for 75.
Kane and Lynch was pretty much getting horrible reviews all around. I haven't played it but I would be almost willing to try it just for the multiplayer aspect.
time crisis is basically the same railshooter like the one that just came out for the wii right? (no not umbrella, the other one that was in the arcades.. ghost squad i think?)
Err think so, the only light gun I ever played in arcades were time crisis but from the looks of it they seem to be pretty much the same.
BTW, if anyone here owns a PS3 and still hasn't tried out Uncharted, you have no idea what you're missing.. this game is seriously amazing... just phenomenal. (and it seems like it could have some really nice replay value too..)
That's good to know. I definitely was thinking about picking that up. Is the combat like over the shoulder or what is it like exactly?
I plan on waiting for my Dualshock 3 to arrive then I definitely plan on playing it.
It's basically the same as the demo... however, the demo comes after all the tutorial levels and the actual first level of the game, so I guess that's why the demo was so frustrating and hard for me. After playing through the game from the beginning I had no problem with the level they put in the demo.
It's pretty simple really, you have the option of either meleeing or shooting, and except for the pistol you start with you can collect weapons from dead enemies (really easy to get ammo, the enemies drop a ton for all the weapons in the game). The meleeing is pretty sweet (square > triangle > square does an awesome move lol, the one in graverobberx's sig) but kind of dangerous if the enemy knows you're running towards him.
You basically need to cover behind structures etc. all the time and pop out to shoot by holding L1 at the structure's edge (kind of Gears of War-like..) and shooting with R1.
I'm really enjoying myself with this game... was pleasently surprised by how good it is (and I was actually going to skip it but a friend suggested I go buy it asap so I did..)
NINJA EDIT: And speaking of the dualshock3, damn thing was shipped 2 days ago and it's still not here (picked the UPS shipment)... hopefully I get it tomorrow. ;;
When I first got the weapon, I insulted it. I deserve to be slapped.Originally Posted by GraveRobberX
New PS3 ads
The new guys incharge of the marketing team are finally doing something right lol.
wow, finally some real PS3 commercials, with like... games in the commercial. "This is living" shit was so stupid.
Heh yeah..
Here's another one, even though it's fanmade it's pretty well cut..

Im a huge fan of the newest Assassin's Creed commercial: http://youtube.com/watch?v=b-mHVs5gJng
The clips they used and how they used the song 'Teardrop' is excellent. Watching this commercial has made me have an actual interest in the game, I may just have to pick it up for the PC.
That and my friend said it was very 'Tenchu' like, which is badass.
