I think it reasonably could sell 1 mill. This MGS release is much bigger than when MGS3 came out. How many did MGS2 sell when it released? That is a more telling figure. 3 was more of a niche release while 2 sold a gazillion PS2's for Sony. Including mine.

mgs2 didnt actually sell that many ps2's. theres no way it'll do 1mil, there will be maybe a 2% attach rate, nowhere near 10+%

Unless the game has the words "Pokemon" or "Halo" in the name, one is just asking for disappointment if they have insane ballpark numbers.

i doubt even FF13 will break 1mil on launch day. it just doesnt have the fanboy hype as much, and mgs is even smaller than FF fanbase.

No problem. Either did I. Apparently it's super uncensored too...can hear him calling guys Fuckheads in one of the other trailers. Neat! Just checked EBgames and it comes out in February I believe.

It's pretty damn cool actually... very precise as far as aiming goes... much better than holding the wiimote by itself and trying to aim it at stuff.

It makes playing Umbrella Chronicles a heck of a lot easier too.

MGS4 is still a ways away, 1 million isn't a ridiculous goal considering that LittleBigPlanet is coming out well before MGS4, and if Sony markets that right it should fatten the install base for Konami come D-Day.

Need shopping help for an Xbox 360 game. Here's the mission parameters:

1. It's for my brother, he's older than me, he's 31.
2. He has an Xbox 360 and a nice HDTV.
3. He wants a driving game that he can play with my dad.
4. My dad is a big porche afficionado.

So, what game/games would be the best choice? My brother had the original Project Gotham for the first Xbox and seemed to enjoy that. Is there anything better?

Project Gotham 4 is pretty fun. It's probably the best choice for a racing game if he wants to drive exotic cars.
