Knowing 100 would be better, and that still doesn't guarantee you'll run into 33 people. It's all luck of the draw.Originally Posted by Starless

Well I beat uncharted it is truly one of the gems of this year and should be a GOTY contender but it probably won't be because its a PS3 game :D . All around one the best games I've played this year, and that music score is too badass for words. I suggest all PS3 owners go pick it up brand new, in the hopes of them making an uncharted 2.
I always assumed I bought a Wii because it was the system that appealed to me more than the other two. honestly, I never intended to buy a system this generation, so 360 and PS3 were never really considered. I guess I'm wrong though, bought it to be cool.
I need to finish Mario Galaxy, but I dont wanna![]()

Can I just say, holy shit at the new drop ship and the guns on the side.
wow that looks like a pretty cool map, I'll have to check it out.
Are you seriously trying to imply that 33% of the 1st model Xbox360 were not defective? Seriously?Originally Posted by Starless
So apparently the geniuses that brought us all Carmageddon are teaming up with Wizards of the Coast to make a new downloadable IP. Not many details yet but they are quoted as saying, "one of the most treasured IPs in the games field" and promises "a real gaming revolution."

No. I should stop posting here; you all like to twist the words of anything anyone says.Originally Posted by Charismatic

The only foreseeable reason you would have brought up the fact that you've yet to see one of your 18 friends get the RRoD yet would be to try and disprove the failure rate. It's all but been stated by Microsoft that the rate of failure is as high as it is and everyone knows it. Hell, of the five people that I know personally with 360s, three of them have failed and the other two would probably never admit it to me anyways given their obsessive loyalty to the Xbox. Also, he wasn't really twisting your words around since he was just asking you a question trying to figure out what you meant. I hope you're not going into defensive mode because you realize something you said wasn't rock solid.
Yep, yep, those are known as "straw man," you will find anything here but logic (not saying your argument was valid or notOriginally Posted by Starless

I still don't see how the 360's failure rate has anything to do with the games being better than almost all the ones on PS3. What good is a working system if you're not playing any good games on it, lol. This is a dumb argument though, so whatever.
PS3 games can be a blast too... And what good are good games if your system are broken?Originally Posted by Deejay

Oh my god... ffs who cares whose system is better, both systems have great games now get over yourselves.
No, because the PS3 has no games and still costs $599!Originally Posted by Maxxthepenguin
I buoght a Wii. I played Zelda and Mario Strikers on it until I got bored and went back to my 360. Broken or fixed I still won't be using my Wii because theres no games that I like right now. Besides, a system is broken only for the amount of time it takes to repair it. I'll take better quality games any day of the fucking week at the risk of not being able to play for maybe a week or two if it breaks.Originally Posted by Maxxthepenguin

Well that's what I gather from reports on this forum and a friend, it takes about a month. Not that it matters since the newer ones with the 65nm chip are much harder to RROD anyways.Originally Posted by Deejay
Roommate sent his in and got it back in 8 days. Best friend sent his in last week and just got a confirmation that theyre shipping back the new box. When I sent mine in it took about 2 weeks. It usually takes 3-4 days to get the coffin, and then like 7-8 days after you send it back.
360 would have totally run away with it already if the RROD was a non-factor.
But still I declare 2007 to the 360.
2008 Sony needs to claw back to regain the title.
Wii really isn't competing with them, we all know this.
