Wii's are capable of playing DVD movies right now. You'll wear out the laser faster though, as it's not really built for continuous loading.

Nobody gives a flying fuck if their console plays DVD movies anymore. HD or Bluray is a selling point; my Wii console playing DVDs is about as useful to me as it would be if it made toast.

How awesome (funny/sad) would that be if Nintendo just started branding -everything- w/ Wii in its efforts to appeal to every man, woman and child on the planet.

One thing I'm not to thrilled about when it comes to the Wii are all the little pieces of plastic lying around that only work with certain games. Of course you don't need them as you could play all the games with just the Wiimote, but it would suck having to dig through a pile of 10-15 little accessories trying to find the particular one I needed to play the game I was eager to play.

I was gonna shoop a game to be called "Wii Toast" but that would take too much effort and would be hard with MS paint.

But yeah, I'd buy the wii toaster. Toast is always welcome.

So my Time Crisis 4 arrived today....I never had a light rail gun for my console before so I decided to get it. It sucks that the controller is wired, but once you set everything up you get used to it and it's not that bad since the wire is pretty long.

I'm messing with the mini games before the arcade game which is fun as hell, since like a real gun you use the iron sights which is awesome.

I've heard that you can use your sixaxis controller as the button press to cover and reloading like the arcades can be done just by shooting off the screen. Therefore that weird stick piece coming out of the gun is relatively useless in the arcade mode so its more or less only useful for the fps mode. I just imagine it as the red laser some people attach to their real guns.

No Parry and 3D graphics going to make this game so damn shitty I was hoping for a 3rd strike sorta game, but those pics remind me of the Street Fighter EX3.Unless something changes from now till release i guess am going to pass on this game.
