Im poor, somebody send me a free copy (of UT3) for x-mas :ashira:
Has anyone played DBZ: BT3 for the Wii? Looks great, just wondering if it's any fun. How are the controls? What's the online play like?
I'm interested in DBZ: BT3 on the Wii too, so any first-hand experience would be welcomed. I thought BT2 was a pretty fun game, but I'm a dork so I'm pretty forgiving w/ DBZ games.
Pretty sad, even though Suda's games are great, they've all had crappy sales. This one will probably be no different.Originally Posted by Enkidu

What happened though, did it get bad reviews?
No, it got pretty good reviews, 34/40 from Famitsu. The game came out today in Japan and Suda, the creator, set up a booth to sign some games, but no one showed up to buy a copy.
Edit - Here's where I read it: http://www.nintendowiifanboy.com/2007/1 ... nch-event/
That's pretty sad.. did people even know he was doing the signing though? lol.
I would guess that people knew about it, another article says that the event was being 'widely covered' by the gaming press. They even had cos-players.

It'll do better in America. I used to think that I liked Japan's tastes in gaming when I was younger. God what a fucking weaboo I was, Japan has horrible taste in games. Pretty much the only thing that sells in Japan is 1) obscure, stupid DS game 2) Dragon quest # 3) Final fantasy # 4) Super robot fighter gundam XX taisen mega showdown 12 and lest we forget 5) Something shit game about your health oh yeah, and 6) *insert game where you go around capturing monsters* OH and almost forgot 7) Lame JRPG that has the same story as every other lame JRPG and is all about grinding
It's pretty sad, at least to me.
Don't forget about Dynasty Warriors 512.

It's quite different from other shooters on PS3 so it'll have some appeal.
I feel bad for them. They just spent 2 years of their life programming this games, fixing every little details, working over times, and no one want to buy it.Originally Posted by Avé

Actually, the game looks ok, if I had a Wii (never gonna happen), I'd give this one a try (which I won't unless, you get the point). Maybe the U.S. wii casual audience will embrace it![]()
shifting back to Dragonball Tenkaichi 3,
Atari got their line of credit extended by their shareholder, some french company who has serious stakes in Atari's parent company Infogrames. And they also settled a pending lawsuit with FUNimation about royalties owed.
Anyways... this means we get to put up with half-assed Dragonball games from Atari for another 2-3 years. I'm kinda half hoping Atari loses the license and some company who can afford to actually put some effort into it to make an awesome DBZ game.
What's Bungie making these days? lol
I dont plan to buy a Wii but if I had one I'd get this game, maybe they'll do a port to the PS2 (PS3 would be a waste since ps2 could handle that game) in which I would pick it up for sure, it looks interesting.Originally Posted by Meteora
