Back to 2 games on my ps3 "wanted list". No matter how awesome FFXIII/MGS4 are, I dont see myself ever buying one for 2 games unless it drop to 200$.Originally Posted by Xavier
Not just you (and not just PS3 either) as I just got a "ERROR: 'Could not find zone D:\ui_mp.ff' " on my 360.Originally Posted by GraveRobberX

Getting tired of developers planning games as a multi part series before the first is even released. Cliff hangers F T L. Assassin's Creed left you hanging horribly, but at least Mass Effect had some closure. Still doesn't make it any better :\Originally Posted by Xavier
By multiseries, I thought they meant both game on psp or something. Didnt they say they would do something like that a while back?
What they mean is that they'll be splitting the game's story into 3 different games. Kinda like .Hack and Xenosaga were. And I also feel that it's annoying when they do that with games more often. I only played the first game in the Xenosaga series before I lost interest in it and it was about 20 hours or so to beat and it hardly answered anything in that game. It really feels like a company is just trying to milk money out of people when the purposely split a game up like that and I'd much rather play a long, complete game that took longer for them to release then to pay full price for part 1 of a game that will have the other parts released over the following 3 or 4 years.Originally Posted by Kaylia
Its a sign of the times. The rising development costs have to be offset somehow.
Oh there's an easy answer to that... make the games for the Wii!Originally Posted by Xavier
But seriously, yeah it might have something to do with higher costs. I imagine it'd be easier for them to space out production and hope to make a better profit with 3 different games than place all their bets on one release. Still doesn't make me dislike it any less than I already do though.
But then they won't sell unless they are made by nintendo or are minigaems.Oh there's an easy answer to that... make the games for the Wii!
To be fair, the majority of games made (on any system, not just Wii) don't deserve to sell anyway, they're total crap.Originally Posted by BRP

It wasn't the Gundam Dynasty Warrior was it, lol?
Hah, maybe it was. Why the "lol", does it suck? Or because I'm completely clueless? :DOriginally Posted by Xavier
I played a demo of the game on the 360, it was ok, but Dynasty Warrior games are just mindless button smashing to me, I don't really understand the appeal.
yea that'd be Dynasty Warriors Gundam, fun game if you happen to like Dynasty Warriors games and Gundam games, because that's literally exactly what it is.

I think the Yoshinori guy looked at an installment base sheet before blurting out suggested platforms.
Sounds more like a businessman than a gamer, lol
I don't want to get sucked into buying a NDS, but damn, the FFIV remake looks amazing.
