That game where you launch the dude into the street seems pretty fun lol.

PAIN, and yes, its loads of fun, bought it the day it came out
The PSN needs demos for its downloadable games. I'd like to try that Pain game youre referring to Exo, but I have heard bad reviews and I don't want to drop 10 bills if it is going to suck.
I can't call it a piece of crap either? If your argument is that you don't feel like the VC games are worth your money, nobody is forcing you to buy them.
If you include only Silver membership you still get access to ton of(most) demos and trials. If you buy the elite currently, you get like 10-12 trial games and I think like 3 demos, one of which is the online Lost Planet demo.
VC was a huge letdown, like practically all of Wii's channels(or what could be called the console's non-game content). Xbox360 blows it away, it's not even a contest. Unfortunate, because all of the channels sounded they would be awesome back in the day. I hope for someone to mod it like fucking crazy one day, much like what happened with the PSP. It'll be the first console mod I ever purchase. Something tells me I'll live without the anonymous/trackless online play.
lol congrats for saying the 360 online system blows away the Wii's. That is the revelation of 2008.
Wii really could care less about competing with the 360's online system, that much is obvious.
The Wii WiFi is the stupidest thing in this generation of gaming. It's why I stopped playing Mario Strikers so goddamn fast. Matching system was horrible.Originally Posted by Po
I hope they fix that shit up before SSBB.
It's not just online, it's the entire console. They should have just skipped it entirely and went straight to game and just released retro game packs with 20-40 Nes/Snes/etc games packed into one disc and released a third Animal Crossing(they'll let wear more than a odd-looking jumpsuit!).
Spoiler: Either completely random with no name or taunts or friendlist only. SAKURAIIIIIIIIII hope they fix that shit up before SSBB.
EDIT: I have some faith in the DS Demo Channel they spoke of. It's the only thing I've been excited for concerning the Wii hardware. I mean, it's really hard for them to mess something like that up since they already do it in several stores.
I'm talking about the matching system but okay heh.. And yeah the fact they probably have no names is kind of stupid. Friendlist still doesn't make much sense to me because the whole wii number system is stupid a hell.Originally Posted by BRP
I'm a bit confused by this. You are saying Live Gold is required to download demos/trailers/etc, but I just checked and I can download any free content in the marketplace (demos and trials) and I have Live Silver. As far as I can tell Live Gold is needed only for online play. So... did I misunderstand or something?Originally Posted by Xavier
Nope you're correct.Originally Posted by Anderian
Sometimes silver members cannot access content until a week or so after it comes out for gold members. Arcade games are sometimes released in that fashion.

This week's Zero Punctuation: Mario Galaxy.
Was pretty funny but I don't agree with some of his points. I thought the camera was dead on.Originally Posted by Exoduso

Admittedly there aren't a lot in SMG but I lol whenever he brings up how Nintendo just flog their deadhorse games over and over again.
Yeah the beginning was good, it got a bit dull towards the end is all.
Just played "The Club" demo for ps3.... got mix feeling about it, sorta nice but its kinda crappy.Would like to know what everyone thinks about it.(btw u can download demo on the EU store)

You cant run (looks like your always in Slo-Mo), the placement of certain buttons used for commands are an issue, aiming can be a pain, the melee kills are horrible and sometimes enemies appear out of fn nowhere + they have like 100% accuracy....GG Sega
I think the premise was really awesome, especially the intro, felt like a Guy Ritchie Dark Comedy/Action Movie (Be cool if they made this into a movie)
The reality of what you just said isn't so cool.Originally Posted by GraveRobberX
I don't know, on the planet levels, yeah, it was no problem. On the ones where if you fall you die... camera control would have seemed me a lot of frustration.Originally Posted by Norelco
