Yeah, I should have gotten Chainsaw (which was the most fun) and just stopped there. Torque Bow, Hammer of Dawn, and Longshot were crappy. I'm tempted to try for ~200 kills a week and hope that it might unlock sometime... I really just wanted the gamer picture.

I wish Halo had Gears type achievements. Those are real achievements, not some bullshit "lets watch youtube vids n get skullz for pointz yay!" cause that wasn't fun. I'd rather waste my time playing the actual game than doing stupid not fun side crap.

You have to admit some of the gears achievements are semi annoying. It's really bad when your teammate feels the need to try and tag everyone with a grenade... (ESPECIALLY WHEN IM GOING FOR THE CHAINSAW ACHIEVEMENT WTF!) >.> lol

Yeah, but in a balanced shooter like Halo.. it wouldn't really hurt the team if someone wanted to get 100 kills with dual pistols or plasma rifle. Sure it might get annoying if you can't get a certain weapon, but i'd rather deal with that than have to spend hours doing stupid scavenger hunts for a retarded gamerscore.

Edit: Don't mean to sound so grumpy... the skulls weren't that bad in Halo... I just think that achievements should reward players for actually playing the game as apposed to doing crappy side tasks that don't have anything to do with what makes the game fun.

Online Gears is a great example for people who like to hate on achivements, nothing like getting a guy on your team who'ss going for the pistol achivement

The pistol is actually very effective if you can use it well.

And people who go for that achievement only kill the people with it once they are already down, so it isn't a big deal at all.

lol yeah if that's real then the design is total garbage.

I'd assume it HAS no Hard Drive for staters, which would suck and would make it sort of a direct competition to M$'s Arcade 360. The BD drive would have to still be there since all the games are on Bluray, otherwise I don't really know what else they could be taking out to compensate.

But hell, I like my "fat" PS3 loook, don't really care about any slims at this point (especially when they look as bad as this lol.)

At least the slim PS2 looks nice.

Actually if it were a solid state harddrive it could definitely be that thin, but it would drive up the price. My friend doesn't think a slim PS3 will be out for at least another 2 years.

Maybe not two years, but yes, that is a ridiculous mockup. I'll actually wait until Sony says something before I listen to anyone else. I'm hoping after the 80GB outselling the 40GB over the holidays they will at least attempt a BC solution for whatever model they have planned next.

SSBB: 500k (80% sell, excellent)
DMC4 Ps3: 140k (60%, good), 360 30k (60% also)
