The PS3 stuff just isn't impressing me yet. I really want MGS4, but that's it. I love FF, but after the mess that was FF12, my hopes aren't too high for the franchise anymore. Killzone 2 looks good, but I remember when the first one was touted as the "Halo killer" and just ended up not being that great at all.

I will end up eventually buying a PS3, but all of these great games coming out for the 360 make it a purchase I can live without for a while.

Anyone else looking forward to Too Human? Kotaku's impressions weren't as favorable as I'd hoped:

Lost Odyssey only 78% currently.

Not as hot as one would have thought, seems like most people expected some change from the traditional formula.

78% isn't bad at all, but not the kinda shit they had expected.

Meh these grades mean nothing... if you have a 360 and you even remotely enjoy RPGs, get this game. All of the reviewers had a gripe with the loading, which is not an issue with the retail version. Also, they seem to give low grades to anything that isn't a shooter, called Halo, or created by Square, which is why I stopped listening to them a long time ago.

EDIT: gamestop has actually removed their score and said they will rewrite a review based on the retail version, which is different than what they had.

But fuck that, most of the reviews dock it for technical flaws like load time and frame hiccups. The game is awesome and anyone that I know who's played it, has enjoyed it greatly. Lots of emotional roller coasters in this game and so far (40% finished), if it came out in 2007, could compete for my GOTY.

Friend's opinion > professional ratings.
