We should make a new rule. If you have Xbox 360, you can only comment on the happenings of the Microsoft camp, and if you have PS3, you can only comment on the happenings of the Sony camp. Yeah. Having the same fucking pissing contest over and over again. Sure, I get the point. It's just that thanks to this thread, we usually don't get new topics for noteworthy news, just ones dedicated to specific games. (edit: well sure, there was the MGS4+PS3 bundle thread and Blu vs HD thread, but still)
So I usually check this thread to see if I've missed something (I usually just skim through my RSS feeds) only to be hit in the face with three pages of people bitching over basically nothing. Don't get me wrong, it WAS entertaining first, but now it's just... everytime I open this thread, every post I see I can't feel but to think "didn't we go through this already?". And yeah. I've probably said this before too. But seriously. Console wars or not, when most people on this forum people are HC gamers, with more than just few sporting more than one next-gen console, why the fuck do you people still have to be so small minded and try to put others down?

That's exactly the point. The bullshit gets repeated here so it doesn't overflow into the forums. News is more often than not posted here, but if it's significant enough it'll get it's own thread. No one forces you to read it, like you said, just skim all the bullshit and when you see a link check if it interests you.

Besides, if it wasn't for this thread you'd just get a bunch of news topics that get derailed with this bullshit after 3 posts (lolps3 etcetc). Who wants multiple threads all basically the same when you can just have 1 thread instead?

Nice site, but not quite what I was aiming for. I know most people are pretty emotional about the whole console war, but I was trying to suggest that we could try, as crazy as it sounds, just giving our opinions on news / games instead of bashing other people for their opinions. Guess that won't work, huh?
I know this thread was created to keep people from starting Xbox vs Wii vs PS3 debates in every gaming thread, but now it just feels like it's adding fuel to the fire, y'know? Like giving people permission to act like assholes towards eachother.

Game is pretty good so far, it's late so the dreams were getting SERIOUSLY annoying. They are great reads, but at some of the points they hit well, they are the least of my concerns. I'd want to be fighting or doing something but ohhhh got a 10minute dream to read lol. At least they are really well written though. Exo is saying if you care about the story to read everydream that hits in the middle of the story or a cutscene - but is that really the case? There are times I'd love to skip them but im 100% sure I wouldn't remember to read them later lol. Do they really progress or affect the story much?

I sent you a message of MSN but you misunderstood what I said... I told you to read the ones triggered by the story because they are generally the best reads. These dreams have nothing to do with the actual storyline, but rather just help you understand more about kaim.. 50% of Kaim's character development in the game is basically in these dreams, because it shows you what he used to be like in his 1000 years of living. Some dreams triggered by the story are the other immortals' stories as well, and those are pretty damn good also.

Yeah or just do that. I honestly loved every single dream i've read though, and I know it's not just me. Maybe you were just tired and cranky so you didn't have the patience for them, but they're really good.

I think the MSG4 bundle is a great idea. Now, if they do the same thing with FF13 (or bundle it with some other BC version), and it's $100 cheaper (by the time it comes out I don't see that as impossible), I'll happily pick one up.
