Not a rumor, it's confirmed. Kind of tell you the state of the console wars. Peter Moore went to the power house publish, the Evil Empire (EA) and Phil Harrison who oversaw 2 back to back 100 million unit consoles in Euroland goes to Atari. It's like jumping from the Hindenburg onto the Titanic.

Chains of Olympus is cool, pretty hardcore for the PSP.

Picked up Bully for the 360 (never had a chance to play it on PS2), and it's really hilarious. Although the freezing bugs and glitches in the 360 version suck, but a patch is supposed to be coming soon..

I guess EA didn't like being out published last year, and now they're just going to buy all of the developers so they control the entire gaming industry? But honestly, I don't think all these buyouts can be good in the long run.

Also, I'm pretty shocked that the Wii is still out of stock nearly everywhere, pretty ridiculous lol.
I was lucky to come across one last February.

As much trash as people like to talk about the Wii simply because it's not HD and only supports 480P with graphics that are only slightly better than the previous generation of consoles, I'd never trade my Wii for anything. I have a 360, but that thing is always breaking, so fuck that piece of shit system. Wii has been going strong with 0 problems with tons of gameplay hours on it.

DVD video playback on Wii..
Basically the only thing holding it back from being able to play DVDs is a firmware update correct?
As far as I know the Wii disc format is DVD so it's playback is a software limitation, not hardware.
Haven't found any info if Nintendo plans on allowing DVD playback any time soon.

So apparently in Europe alone, Gran Turismo: Prologue has one million pre-orders already. Seeing as they also say that those are only pre-orders for the Blu-ray copy makes me wonder how many will get it from the PSN.
