I'd bet money that it won't stay exclusive for long.Originally Posted by Exoduso

I'm really wishing Microsoft packed in a bigger hard drive with the 360 now... I'm going to have to start deleting old content I don't use to have room for. I have no desire to buy the 120GB hard drive, partly because of the price, but mainly because it's going to "DRM" all of my content and make it playable only by my profile, and only while on XBL.
I don't think the GTAIV DLC will be entire cities though... The episodes are estimated to be 10 hours in length(by someone at Rockstar), so maybe a small town would be my guess.
At first I wanted a MGS movie, but then I realized what makes MGS so great is that it's a videogame that plays out like a movie. A lot of MGS's magic comes from the fact it's a hybrid of sorts. A movie wouldn't do it justice. I'm sure if it turns out nicely it will be a good film to watch, but like I said, not what MGS is about.Originally Posted by SamanosukeShiva
MS paid a lot of money to keep it exclusive. If anything, Sony will get a different kind of DLC.Originally Posted by Headspace
But yeah, doubt they'll be entire cities, they could make a lot more money on them if they release them as separate games (ie, VC/SA as "expansions" of gta3 but still their own games.)
Microsoft already bet money that it would.Originally Posted by Headspace
.* There are over 100 radio commercials in the game.
* Announcements on the subway system will randomly alert you of spontaneous police harassment, security checks and searches.
* The faux-beer brand "Piswasser" takes a jab at Budweiser, including a radio commercial sung by Anthony himself.
* GTA IV's in-game internet is ridiculously extensive, featuring spoofs of liberal and conservative news sources with coverage of your in-game antics, as well as spoofs popular blogs and websites (craigslist, for example). Irritating pop-up banner ads also make an appearance.
* Niko can hook up with a wide range of girls via dating websites.
* Injuries mean much more in GTA IV. When Niko gets shot in the leg, for example, he'll begin to bleed and limp.
* Recording sessions for dialogue and in-game audio went on for ten hours a day, five days a week. The entire process took weeks to finish.
* Rockstar employees have been working overtime and well into the weekends to complete the game.
* Between the Xbox 360 version of the game and the PS3 version, Lazlow admits that he prefers the 360 version thanks to the downloadable content; new missions, new characters, new comedy, etc
so ronery ;_; confirmed for GTA4
Also, I can wait for the Edgeworth game. The court cases thing still ticks me off a bit though.
Well I might get both versions, but the 360 version will wait until I see one or two worthwhile downloads.
MGS4 is coming "soon" so its not like I will be playing GTA much anyway.
Then why not get the 360 version in the first place? It's not like the ps3 version is any better.Originally Posted by Tajin
if you dont care about dlc id buy ps3 too, i buy multiplats on ps3 cause i like the controller better.
Well I did buy the PS3 to play MGS4 and GTA4, kinda silly to buy it for 360 on launch. Not to mention the downloadable content might not live up to the hype.
And honestly Xbox Live sucks (customer side) need to have two profiles with gold pass on the same Xbox to play online co-op, fucking BS. If only Namco released Ace Combat on PS3 ;;
If they ever add new multiplayer matchtypes to the DLC then it will without a doubt be worth it on 360.
Fucking lol, I so wish that was true. AC6 is the only 360 game I own.Originally Posted by Tajin
I don't even have a 360.
AC6 is an amazing game, well they all are even if they look a bit like megaman at this point.
You need 2 profiles to play online coop with the 360? For GTA4 or in general? With Gears/Halo3 you don't with guest passes unless I'm miss understanding something.
And buy it for the system you have more friends on, would suck to get it on different system and unable to bust a cap in your buddy's ass!
I don't know if you need two profiles, but for the sake of record keeping and lolachievements you do need, and even if both profiles are in a single 360 only one gets the gold live, fuck paying for two golds -_-.
The multiplayer in GTA is a bonus for me, but not the reason to buy the game.
If you own both a 360 and a PS3, and both versions play identical, I'd buy the 360 version for the achievements alone, nevermind that it has exclusive bonus content.
I wouldn't exactly shoot yourself in the foot because you "bought a PS3 and might as well buy games for it", exclusive content is exclusive content and considering Microsoft paid $50 million for it, I doubt its going to be small. I wouldn't gamble my $65 on the hope that their $50 million investment was on a custom paint job instead of missions/bonus cities, etc.

As far as good third-party games go on the Wii, I wish a handful of developers would put out a few mature, AAA titles. The myth that hardcore AAA titles can't sell on the Wii is just ridiculous, Resident Evil 4: Wii sold over a million copies, and it was just a port of a two year old PS2 game.
The Wii might not be capable of graphics much better than a Xbox1.5, but it certainly has the opportunity to provide fun gameplay with the controller. When will a developer step up and deliver Halo: Wii with motion-sensing gun control? An incredibly polished, well designed hardcore game would sell, and I imagine sell well. If developers are only going to put out absolute shit on the system, then they should expect shitty sales in return.

Call of Duty 4 Wii version with full motion sensing gooooooo
Seriously, I need a reason to use my Wii atm because its just being a dust magnet.
