DLC that's worth paying for on the 360? How about 90% of Rock Band songs?

He was probably talking about exclusive DLC or non Rock Band DLC? Considering the same songs come out for both systems, for the same price (I believe?), but you don't have to pay for PSN, therefore it's cheaper.

Not to mention CoD4 downloadable maps, GoW downloadable maps (which are now free), Halo downloadable maps (half of which are free), Ikaragu, Carcassone, Bomberman Live, etc.

On another note I was a little harsh with the moron comment, I think it is just honestly silly to play the game on PS3 when it will have better legs on the 360. Especially since this is the first game of the series to have a robust online system that is not just team deathmatch. I believe 16 modes, including co-op modes. And it is no secret that the PSN is a nightmare to play with friends on.

To each their own of course. And to people who say lolachievements, that is all well and good, but they are there as well and will also provide additional replayability to the 360 version (if the scope of GTAIV is not enough on its own.)

As far as the DLC, yes rumors are rumors, but the fact that it is exclusive to 360 is not a rumor. That was confirmed fact. It may make its way to Sony's court at some point too, but I am sure not within the first year of release. And who cares what it turns out to be, I am just saying it was rumored to be on the scale of VC and SA, if it falls short of that I would say that is ok since those were full release games on the PS2.

But maybe not everyone is into the online aspect of GTA, plus the PS3 version also has the online mode. Could you people stop being so butthurt about the achievements comment, I pointed it out that way because Xavier was trying to "sell" me the 360 version with that included in the argument. Read: I'm not stupid enough to buy a game for the achievements -.- (I'm not calling Xavier stupid either before you guys jump into that)

Now, unless there are some achievements that are not accessible on the PS3 version, I fail to see how the 360 version offers more replayability.

Dude I am not being "butthurt" about anything, I was just pointing out other reasons other than the fucking ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM reason to play the 360 version of the DLC.

1 of the reasons I was pointing out was the fact that it is much easier to play the online mode and have fun with it, be it with friends or randoms on the 360 than it would be on the PS3. I understand everyone is not into that, I never said they were, again just pointing things out.

Last time I checked Home has not yet been released, and there is no achievement system on the PS3. I had it on this morning too, so unless a new update came out releasing achievements on the PS3, I am pretty sure all 40-50 ach's worth 1000 gamerscore is a feature exclusive to 360. Now I understand that might mean nothing to you, and if so that is fine. But again, attempting to acquire the 1000 gamerscore could keep a 360 player playing the game longer than the PS3 owner, hence the longer playtime and enjoyment (maybe replayability was the wrong choice of words).

If the number is keeping you playing longer, something is really wrong there. Why is it easier to play online on the 360? I honestly missed that.

Are you sure the player is getting more enjoyment out of reaching the 1000? Don't answer it this shit will get derailed into subjective bullshit >_>

Again, since we are talking about GTA; unless the PS3 version lacks the stats screen, there is not difference from the 360 achievements (as far as offline is concerned).

As you said, enjoyment of the 1000 gamerscore is a whole 'nother argument altogether which could spawn 500 pages on its own so we won't go there.

But I am sure millions of 360 owners play to earn achievements to increase their gamerscore. Case in point: I loved Uncharted, everyone did pretty much. They had an achievement system in that game, but honestly it amounted to nothing. Sure it was cool to see it pop up when I got 10, 50 headshots, etc, but I didn't go after them because it amounted to nothing. That is what makes XBL compelling to lots of people is being able to compare gamerscores with friends, and to see who beat Gears on Insane, and who did it first, etc. Sure I can epeen all day in my room about getting 50 headshots in Uncharted, but no one would ever know about it. Please don't ask me to elaborate on this further, anyone who owns a 360 knows how this works and the appeal of it.

I mentioned Home because that is when Sony is supposed to implement their Achievement system with Trophy's to view or w/e. At least thats whats rumored.

And finally about the online thing. I just mean the whole community is much more robust, and I know personally for no reason I just get kicked out of PSN when that never happens on XBL or on the Wii for that matter. But obviously it is much easier to play with friends with crossgame invites, and being able to pull up messages while in game, and easily see recent players while in game. The system is just much more user friendly. Sure it may not be physically easier to choose your server and choose to go online, but all the additional features and an actual community feel make it feel that much more robust.

You suck at math. Those two games specifically are very fun to 1k/1k, and most people are doing it, mostly because they're actually worth a replay or two (or in ME's case, 5 or 6 lol) anyways so why not.

But again, to each his own. I don't care enough to force the way I play my games onto others. Everyone can do whatever the fuck the want.

Therefore, Tajin can buy it for the ps3 if he feels like it, leave him alone.

Also a heads up Costco sells PS3 and 360 games for $51 and tax. Great deal IMO I am going to head there anytime I want to buy one. Though their selection is slim they have most of the vital games in there.

btw about ps3 achievements, some games are already incorporating them in, and will retroactively update when home launches. at this point its still up to the developers to include them or not.

Yeah I was thinking between CoD4 GotY edition or Mass Effect but I seeing as I already have an RPG game, I really would rather have something else to shoot shit at.
