lol that's dumb... and they'll prob tighten the security on it so you can't put hacked firmwares on it, and in turn can't play SNES/N64/PSX games that you make yourself, unless they're already out on the ps3 store.

Anyone picking up Guitar Heroes 2 for the 360 today?

Is so is it worth getting if you have the PS2 version?

I picked up the last GH2 at my Gamestop just a couple hours ago, now I can't wait to get home

It has 74 total songs (how many does the PS2 one have?)

And of course leaderboards, achievements, downloadable songs. Red Octane (company that makes the game) came out and said a month or so ago that this game is going to have the most downloadable content ever.

I think the leaderboards should also be really good in this game.

thats the problem the fact that they are making a new system tells me they have no clue what they did wrong with the psp because if they knew what they did wrong they would not be bothering with a new system they would be trying to increase third pt support for the psp. when your system is dying because of lack of good games the answer is not to come out with another system that is very similar but ultimately the same with respect to games.

I couldn't have said it better myself, lol. Those articles don't even mention rivaling the DS, they are talking about rivaling something by Apple? Unless they gave up on outdoing the DS altogether... I don't even get it, they still don't seem to have their priorties on games, despite it being a game system. Ironic.

Um, the PS2 version was 80 I think, at least, combined with 1 guitar. So I don't know why you are saying "lol" about the price.

2) There is no online co-op in the PS2 version (obviously). And they could always make that available in future updates.

Yea, I remember the PS2 version being 79.99 with a guitar. So $10 for 10 more songs and the online/Live/achievements features. Sounds fine to me.

They did the same thing with the PS and the PS2. They continuously made changes to them to make them better.

On another note, the PS2 version of GH2 had 65 total songs.
