Maybe if you play on the new super easy difficulty, but I find it hard to believe you finished Gears 1 on Hardcore/Insane in 3 hours, since you're pretty much forced to take your time or you'll get downed incredibly fast.

So Gears 2 looks just like I expected it: Gears 1, except more epic, and bigger battles. The chainsaw combat should be interesting, and if you can use the opposing team members as shields in multiplayer as well... Can't wait!

I think it looks pretty epic, can't wait to play it this November. I don't see how you could have beaten Gears on Insane in 3 hours either, and unless you're playing a game at its real difficulty, I don't see how you can complain about the length.

My one big complaint about Gears though was that while I found the single player game really fun, I suffered from the "can't hit shit" syndrome online.

lol the first time I beat Insane I did it in co-op with a friend, I think it took us a good 7-10 hours to beat, and countless deaths (especially in the 3rd act where you take the cranes and the assholes pop from the ceiling lol, that part was unbearable..)

Then again, I thought the online was pretty bad so I didn't bother with it too much. Hopefully they make it more entertaining this time around, but i'll grab it either way since I really enjoyed GoW1's story and single player/coop campaign mode.

I honestly don't mind it coming out for PC (I don't see why anyone cares when a title goes multiplatform - as long as you can play it, what does it matter), it just irks me that they didn't even offer the Brumak mission as DLC on the 360. I would have gladly paid for it. The PC version was full of system related bugs, crashes, and it even deleted your saves I think.

Its cause the brumak levels were just ok, nothing super amazing or anything but I do see your point. I'm hoping whoever they pawned the development onto for the PC version they will use again so they will already have experience working on the port. Anyone have the PC version of gears? I love to try COOP sometimes on insane, my live name is Nightstriker078 or if you want to play some TF2.
