certain locations will prolly have midnights, and the 80gbs will be very limited, so stores with midnights have a good shot at selling out in popular areas.

What have they said about the 80 gig bundles? Thought only the gunmetal ones are suppose to be limited and the 80 gig should be easily available. Do you know about how many each store will get?

I called a couple of Gamestop's in my area today to check and see if they were A. Doing Pre-orders (I don't think they can do pre-orders on systems already available, but I called to check anyway), and B. To find out if they were doing a midnight release.

The answers I got were vague from both stores. They said they'd only do a midnight release if the pre-ordered quantity was tremendous. They, however, didn't know much of anything. They had no idea how many bundles or games they'd be receiving in, and they didn't know if they were going to do a pre-order, but at that moment, they were not. Told me to call back a week or two before the drop-day.

Am I correct in reading that they couldn't do pre-orders on bundles or am I out of my mind?

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King scored a B+ from 1up.com, might actually be worth the $15, seems pretty cool.

I don't understand how Metacritic works though, they translated the B+ from 1up into an 83.

Think Dark Cloud without the dungeon crawling. There's no fighting at all, you just build the town and crap.

there will be no preorders on the 80gb mgs bundle. and both of them are going to be limited quantites. the gunmetal will be limited edition forever, its just the fact that the initial release of the 80gb mgs bundle will be limited, think back first 3 months of ps3 launch and hard to find systems. i'd estimate 6-8 per store, but really have no idea as of right now. we already have way too many 40gb in stock.
