After OoT was able to reclaim it's top spot on Gamerankings due to a negative review to GTA, some 10/10 reviews from OoT has disappeared pushing it back down.

The Haze demo kicks ass..

I just woke up, but I'm hoping the dots mean you aren't at least completely serious. The game play was O.K. I guess, but the dialogue was atrocious.

I'm very serious, I just wasn't feeling like typing !!!!

The demo is also coop, I played it with some friends last night... shit is awesome. Maybe I don't play a lot of shooters so I can't really tell, but I really enjoyed it. Perhaps not as much as COD4, but it was still fun.

So my friend brought over his 360 today. I've played very little of the "next gen" consoles, but I had a Wii for the longest time. I know one thing, charging extra for wireless capabilities after dropping several hundred on a 360 is fucking retarded. It's the lamest thing ever to have to string the cord across the god damned room. Also, is there no way the 360's do bluetooth or a wireless headset? Those were just 2 things that really grinded my gears about the 360. If PSN was as good as live the the PS3 had a 360 controller, i'd be in heaven. Just my random thoughts from having a day with a 360.

The 360 was only missing wireless support if you bought the core system, which was missing a lot of stuff anyway and wasn't worth it. Also it does have a wireless headset you can get, you just have to buy it. It sounds like your friend just bought his 360 right when it came out or something and hasn't upgraded to any of the newer better versions.

cores didnt miss wireless support, they just came with a wired controller, and there is a wireless headset its $59.99, only ms one works.

If you find that upsetting wait till you hear PS3's come with composite cables. The fucking 1080p console for which they screamed "it has HDMI support!" At least Microsoft delivered a component cable so you could actually play fucking HD out of the box. I was slighty annoyed I had to go to the store to get a HD cable for the PS3 (HDMI obviously). Composite... seriously... that shit was acceptable in the 80's... cheap ass Sony.

Normal people don't even know that you need the cable. I've had to help at least 5 friends hook their PS3's up with HD and I've personally watched their awestruck looks after they finally witness real PS3 graphics.

The funny part is hearing them brag about how great the PS3 looks before they even own HD cables.

Since we're on the subject, what's a good HDMI cable to buy for the PS3? My two component slots are taken up by my Wii and 360, and since HDMI is a better connection anyway... I know the Sony brand one is $60, but when I drop $500 on the bundle next month, I don't want to pay that for another cable.

Just get a 10$ one from radioshack, it will work just as well.

I get the feeling GTA4 wouldn't have been nearly as well received(10/10 from 20+ reviewers, GAMESPOT: BETTER THAN TONY HAWK 3?!) if it had been hyped constantly with info and data like say compared to Brawl or your typical FPS. So yeah, I would say not showing so much is a good thing if only for fooling people.

In the same sense, the movies that usually win "picture of the year" and get highly acclaimed reviews are the movies that are minimally marketed. No country for Old Men, Crash, Million Dollar Baby, etc and so on.
