Wow, terrible graphics and rubbish controls. I wouldn't buy this game if the final version was the same. Doubt i'll even rent it.

i always said it's a way overhyped game, i mean come on, they completely scraped the original game they were making and changed to making this.
Wow that demo was underwhelming. Yeah, too bad they couldn't get the unreal engine in this game.
The controls were way too loose for what the game demands
btw lolPS3, rumors of its comeback were greatly exaggerated
since when did it need a comeback? still dont see whats so greatly superior about the 360. they're both good systems in their own rights.
PC/PS3 is still superior to PC/360 without a doubt in my opinion. Whatever 360 has that PS3 doesn't is almost always on the PC and usually plays the same or better. The PC also has superior gameplay for RTS and FPS games.
Maybe now this thread can live up to its name. And BG will be in even more need of a videogame forum.
Not to mention You're in the Movies
FFXIII on 360. That's all I have to say.
I wonder if anyone at Microsoft really expected that game to blow people away. It's weird how Nintendo can make the whole family thing look cool, yet anyone else who tries it fails miserably.
The xbox Mii's were pretty good though, they make the Wii mii's look kinda ghetto in comparison.
Since they've lost all the profits from the PS2 and a portion of their PS1 profits and most of their market share. I'm certain Sony's not happy to be where they are regarding marketshare/profits compared to where they were/should have been and I'm pretty sure they'd like/need a comeback.
considering they havent been trying to sell it as a video game system as much as a bluray device, they arent doing as bad as you think
Spoiler: show
When I said "cool", I meant in it "main-stream" sense. You are "cool" and "hip" if you just so happened to have one of those Wii sports machines...
Who would think a company could make a product who's main dempographic is made up of 99% of the Hanna Montana crowd, and still fool hardcore gamers (/insertBRP) into thinking it's a state of the art device.

I mean let's face it, what games actually use motion control? Zelda? Did you really enjoy wagging your hands? Super Smash? A game you use with a GC controller? Metroid/Remake of RE? They were okay, but did we really even need an actual console for that?
In my opinion MP3, Mario Galaxy, NMH, etc are better with motion controls. Possible without them? Yes. But why are we willing to compromise?
Frankly, if I could play Orange Box games with the Wiimote, I would be in heaven. It would improve the game.

If that's what you mean, then I think the (insertDeejay)"Family"(/insertDeejay) stuff you speak of isn't so family. Playing games with your parents has and never will be cool. It's nice and there is a market for it, but it's certainly not cool. Wii Sports success has less to do with families(father-son, mother-daughter, not cousin-brother) playing together than it does to adults playing it at all(not that most adults who bought it play it more than twice).
Playing with your parents isn't mainstream, playing a golf simulator with something resembling a 1:1 motion sensor is. So is Halo.
Let's talk about who is being or not being blown away. It's the so called (insertDeejay)"hardcore" gamers(/insertDeejay). It certainly are not the type who are waiting for a game mom would like to play.
Wii's casual market has never looked cool to them. When Wii's info came out people thought about 1:1 sword fighting in Red Steel not Hana Montana's High School Hyjinks. Even to this day Wii is bashed for being a casual console and too much wagglan rather than promised inventive gameplay. Remember these are the people not being blown away. The people you talked about aren't even there to care.

Just finished the Too Human demo myself, and fairly disappointed although I can't say I didn't expect it. The graphics were "okay", the story seemed like it could be good, but the gameplay was just really blah. Probably the biggest problem, to me anyway, was masking your melee attack to the right control stick, instead of assigning that to a standard button and instead making it rotate the camera.
To be honest, the lack of a rotatable camera in a game like this really felt really weak, not to mention that I was continually trying to rotate it anyway and instead swinging my damn sword. Really is a shame that they didn't/couldn't end up using the Unreal engine because I think it really shows with the graphics, but I probably wouldn't even rent this game unless the controls get tweaked a lot more.
