Forgot about those, I enjoyed em a lot [but only played the 2nd DS sonic]. Never played Sonic Adventure though I heard it was good. All the new age sonic games where they try to make him more than just a speed demon I havent enjoyed, its why I'm sceptical about there wherehog form, but if they back it w/ a fun combo system and its not a 2 button masher then it can be fun

I kind of disagree with this. Genesis Sonic 1-3 were fun because the game was fast, but you weren't just speeding through a level for large moments. You would usually run into a little road block, figure it out, do a little fighting, jump over a couple blocks, and continue on.

Sega's totally screwed the formula up (imo) with extended woamgfast portions of levels. Holding forward and watching Sonic run for extended periods of time has never and will never be fun to me.

What made Sonic Adventure 1 a good game is the fact that you got to explore a huge 3D world and had to deal with A LOT of platforming elements mixed in with annoying mobs. Sure, they had a few running sections but I felt like it had the best balance of actual fighting/platforming/running.

The only good Sonic game coming out is the one they're working on for PS360... everything else is/was garbage ever since the originals.

Dear Sony:

My friend Erica emailed me about the hottt new PlayStation game you've got in production, Fat Princess. It looks and sounds just adorable but the only thing I can't figure out is why anyone would want to rescue a fat princess in the first place, since everyone knows that fat girls are unlovable human garbage at whom any sensible bloke would sooner hurl invective than cast a longing glance.

I sure hope there's a clever dénouement like the Fat Princess magically becoming thin once she's rescued! 'Cuz that would rock, yo!

Anyway, congrats on your awesome new game, Sony. I'm positively thrilled to see such unyielding dedication to creating a new generation of fat-hating, heteronormative assholes. It's not often I have the opportunity to congratulate a cutting-edge tech company on such splendiferous retrofuck jackholery. Way to go! The Fat Princess of Shakes Manor salutes you.

SA2 was alright, I just didn't like the story arc (except for the lasct scene), and they took out all of the overworld 'splorin which was my favorite part of SA1.

Also, I didn't realize this, but is the SOCOM they showed at E3 just the first "version"? My room-mate was saying it's not made by the people who made the others and that they are making their own version or something. Did that make sense?

Socom 4 is being developed by the peeps who made 1-3.

actually they made a socom game on the psp before. and this isnt supposed to be like the other socom games, well it kinda is, its like the multiplayer of 2 with customization of 3, with next gen graphics.

They did, but it got mediocre reviews and was easily the worst of the 3 PSP iterations. It's got 2 maps from Socom 2, but other than that it's different. They're even changing the camera lol.
