Is Devil May Cry 4 a decent pickup for the ps3 at 39.99? I have a $100 gc from BB after I got my 40gb ps3 there (they matched the Wal-Mart deal), so I was thinking of getting Ninja Gaiden Sigma and maybe DMC4.

How's Sigma? Worth 29.99?

I rented DmC4 and was glad I did.

Its a good game, but fairly short and I didnt really want to play through it multiple times.
There are online leader boards and stuff though as well as an extra dungeon with 100 floors I think.

Theres a demo of NG sigma in the PSN if u want to try it. The game is great although the one i had was NG black for xbox (dunno if sigma is a port of black or the original), but i heard the port was really good.

Well, I got the issue of Nintendo Power everyone was posting the cover of a little while ago, and I read the Sonic article.

My opinion has been changed from "this is the stupidest idea ever" to "this might not be horrible." The game is being made by the team that did Sonic and the Secret Rings and seems to be similar to that game with some sword action thrown in. Waggle to swing the sword and kill enemies in combos if you so choose, but it seems like there will still be plenty of Sonic speed, and maybe some RPG elements since there will be skills, equipment, and perhaps some magic spells. Some other Sonic characters like Knuckles and Shadow make an appearance, but the developers say they hear fans complaints and you don't have to play as anyone other than Sonic if you don't want to.

They also did a bit on a DS game called Away: Shuffle Dungeon by the good folks over at Mistwalker, which seemed interesting. Not entirely sure if its a puzzle game or maybe an action RPG with some puzzle elements, but it involves going into a dungeon/room split onto both screens where the field on each screen is constantly shuffling, causing some puzzles about finding treasures or enemies only on a specific combination of shuffled parts of the area.

Pixel Junk eden demo on PSN right now.

Playing it, its actually a lot of fun and can be really fast when you get the hang of it . I'm really loving these PSN games, this one i'll probably actually buy


The demo also seems to have a couple more stages than i thought o.O weeeee

Edit: yea just opened garden 3, thought there were only 2 gardens in the demo xD
