About 15 hours, so I hear. I"m only on the 3rd chapter though.

Ah ok, the demo was way too short, but it had a nice gritty filter-like effect. The atmosphere was scary enough, it reminded me of the Silent Hill series, will pick it up.

Not really, most of the speculation of what it was "supposed to do" came from pundits, not Nintendo. Nintendo kept specs and potential pretty close to the vest.

1024x768 confirmed of course and temporal AAx2 (i think they use intelligent temporal AA , they disable temporal AA when there are camera movement or quickly player movement for avoid remanence effect)

The idea that new games can actually happen.

Games are made for the interface they have. 1:1 movement is different enough that people would have to come up with something brand new or redefine the challenges and difficulty of other genres.

Frankly, 1:1 movement could greatly enhance Zelda games, giving a new feel (each item being used uniquely) that the series needs badly without abandoning its core.

I'm not sure if this belongs here since it's on PS2 but Atlus JP recently announced Devil Summoner Raidou Kuzunoha vs King Abaddon. I really liked the first PS2 Devil Summoner and this seems to improve on it a lot bringing back demon negotiations. Also they plan on releasing a remix of SMT Nocturne with Raidou as a boss fight and playable character.

Well, you never actually said games that are out. You said games in this current generation and this game is planned to be out this generation. Whether it actually will run at 1080p or not is definitely a big question but the RTE1080 that they tout as their game engine is being claimed as running at a constant 60fps and 1080p. Personally I hope they are legit because that would be pretty impressive given the current market.

That much is fairly obvious... but how soon it's gonna happen, who knows?

I picked up Siren, its actually pretty good. I like how its one of the few survival horror games that you actually have to survive by hiding instead of just running threw and killing everything.

I plan to buy it in episodes to see if I like it enough to get the rest. It seems a bit like the Fatal Frame series w/I absolutely love.

Watched the gamspot live podcast today and they showed off Ratchet and Clank: Quest for Booty, it looks amazing like tools did but the only thing that bothers me is the 14.99 price tag for 3-4 hours of gameplay they said it would have.
Also downloaded the new madden demo, it looks real pretty the AI response is kinda off, recievers dropping their routes and such, but overall it is looking nice since it was just a demo. Dling facebreaker demo now, wanted to try it out.

If they come up with some form of warranty (from Microsoft) then yeah its a good deal.
Think the HDMI one only is found only on Elite packages, but I could be wrong its been a while since I had to look for consoles.

The 20GB Pro Bundle is now $299 brand new, not refurbished it has an HDMI slot in the back already. Reason for the price cut is to pave way for the new standard Pro model which is 60GB but packaged with the same stuff.

Is the only difference a bigger hard drive? I don't feel like spending another 50 bucks on that. Xbox doesn't have you install many of the games like PS3, right?
