There are a ton of good games coming out this fall, I'm not used to such an influx.
I know I'm behind on the discussion about SW:tFU... but the game feel really good & fluid on the xbox. I need to try it for the PS3 also but I've always favored the xbox controller for most games. I guess the deal breaker for me (if the systems prove to be about equal for the game) is if the PS3 offers the game in 7.1 sound.

Anybody play Hot Shot Golf for the PS3... how is it? I've been a fan of the series since the PS2 but haven't picked up the PS3 version since getting the system... but the new Kratos DL has me interested and it's gotten good reviews to boot.

And GL trying to find the MGS4 bundle not way overpriced. I would try Circuit City Online because that's where I got mine a few months ago, but every other store that still has it, only has it for way more than you should be willing to pay..

Read his post, he found one and stores in the US all sale it for the same price and its about the same price in the UK.

obviously missed that detail! I just remember going through difficulty trying to find one about a month ago that wasn't over-priced.. hell, I think Gamestop even was listing em for 50$ over retail at the time

nope, we never sell over the retail, perhaps online they may have bundled it, but in store its always been retail

Yup, the retailers arent allowed to sale them above msrp which is 499.99, they can bundle them and do sales on them, but they cant charge more than the 499.99 price tag which sony sets.

Well the first xbox lasted... how long? God knows how long the second one is going to last. The future looks grim though, according to my magic 8 ball. The Playstation brand has always been "future-proof." Anyways, where's ZoE3? The 2nd one if one of my favourites.

Well, it seems Gearbox has come out and doused that rumor about Halo 4. Who knows though since it is in a companies best interest to deny this kind of stuff until they are ready.

It's the same thing as the GCN gaming landscape, only now people think it's all because of "Casual games". It's just what happens when you have a single developer populating the landscape of releases.

On the GCN wasn't it one good game every 3 or so months? I was willing to wait for 2008 for the PS3, so whatever.

The true tragedy will be that these "hardcore" games will too be dumbed down for the casual masses. I'm look at you Brawl.

Am I the only one who looks at his 360 wondering if MS is going to abandon it next year? They did with the original Xbox in 4 years... I wouldn't be surprised.

Also as for the MGS4 bundles, Wal-Mart still carries them. I am hoping for a price slash next week since Sears has done so already with their MGS4 bundles priced now at $449. Sold out online so insanely fast, good luck finding one at a store. I bought the 40GB a while back to play MGO beta, returned it once the bundles hit Costco and got the MGS4 bundle. I wouldn't mind having another one. <3 having a disposable income from working ridiculous overtime during summer.

PS3 will be Sony's system for at least another 3-4 years. Developers haven't begun to touch it yet. I expect 2-3 FF's and 2 MGs at a minimum for the system.
