It's basicaly just to have soemthing to giveaway to compete with other stores, they did it with SC4 and MGS4 as well. Gamestop is giving away a code for an extra level in the game with preorders, and CC is giving away a tshirt and a 5 dollar gift card.

Yeah thats what I figured, but yeah your gunna see that alot this year, diffrent retailers competeing hardcore. The game is good, toysrus broke the street date here, went and got it earlier ;x Watching football game atm tho.

The very end where Solid and Liquid Ocelot throw those exhausted punches was pretty awesome. I dunno, I just had issues with the block/dodge mechanics thinking they were going to be similar to more standard fighting games. (i.e. if you don't block the first hit of a combo you can't block any of the subsequent ones until the combo is [partially] over)

I agree... for how epic the story battle turned/played out, I struggled w/it also cause the controls were very sluggish for me. They could have done a better job w/it but I can understand how that fight is supposed to signify their aging over the series

And did LBP get pushed back? shows a late Oct release date and I thought it was being released late this month

Im half asleep been up all night playing Star Wars, but the release date has been octoer 21st for sometime now. Around mid june it was set for October release.
