I guess you can call it that, the story is kinda bland/kind anon existant. IGN has a review up on it, might help you decide some, I only had about an hr with it and wasnt impressed.

Thread over.
Blah blah blah heard it a million times.
Penny Arcade 2 out now! Can't wait to play this! Downloading it now, I may push everything else aside til I play through this one. The first one was fantastic, and they dropped the price on it.
Silly video of birds playing Tom Clancy's Endwar, fake or not it is pretty funny.
Did any one check the demo out for this game? The voice recognition was spot on for me, never had to repeat anything as it always picked it up the first time. It was a bit difficult i thought, since you really don't get much instruction in general so I got worked in the Skirmish. The 'tutorial mission' was a bit better since everything is kind of spoon-fed to you as far as what to do and where to send your troops/vehicles.
Overall, not a bad looking game.
For those interested in Mirror's Edge, the demo will be on PSN tomorrow and XBL Friday.

I checked out the Demo (360) and it isn't bad. It is a bit frustrating at first, until you get the timing down. Disarming is a bit rough.
In other 360 news, did anyone here sign up and get in to the Preview of the New Xbox Live Experience? I was playing Fallout 3 last night and was signed out of Live. Signed back in and there was an update. Apparently i was accepted. So far I like it.
The Netflix Instant Watch is kind of cool. You can't actually browse Instant titles on your Xbox, you can only view any Watch Now titles that you have put in your Instant Queue on your PC. Still, not bad.
Overall I am liking it.
Apparently the HDCP that is on the Netflix movies is incompatible with the DVI port on some LCD televisions and older HDTVs from around 2005. I suppose you could switch your cables out to VGA but that would get old realllllly fast. I'm guessing they didnt have any problems with HDMI connections seeing as there was no mention of them.
Yeah, no HDCP device here (I don't think...) so no HD Netflix streams for me. I can't imagine i would be using it a LOT anyway, so just having access to the non-HD titles is fine by me. I played a bit of Boondock Saints last night. It streamed very fast, and started playing within seconds. It didn't look great by any means, but it was surely enjoyable.
Yeah I was lazy and didnt sign up to check it out, so I'll wait till the 19th.
Few question.. Did anyone get the new Spiderman web of shadows game? your thoughts? and did anyone dl the mirror's edge demo? i really want to know how is it.
P.S
Finally my PS3 is on the repair shop, on monday they tell me whats wrong with it so wish me luck I hope its something simple and its covered by the extended repair service i bought with it. This is the first time i dont want a new system.![]()
The portable (DS/PSP) and PS2 versions of Web of Shadows are actually quite good. Kind of an updated version of the old school 2D Spiderman games.
The ones on the big consoles with free roaming gameplay and whatnot are shit though, imo.
I really like the 360 version, as do two of my friends. I haven't had time to finish it, but I've played through Act 1, and it was a blast. However, I never played any of the other 3-D Spiderman games so that probably helped a bit.
Idk where else to ask this but is their a website that can tell you how much each game is worth?
And while I'm here I sold a 360 with one game a memorycard and controller for 130$ A friend said I sold it too cheap. Does anyone else think I did too?

I can't be the only one to find this hilarious, can I?
Definitely lolworthy
Opinions!
I don't want to compare two different games, especially since I haven't played one of them yet, but I will say that I think Gears 2 will be more enjoyable for me. I was a bit disappointed with MGS4's gameplay and story. It was a good game, sure, but definitely not the best, even in the MGS series.
