Nintendo blew its load in the first year of release, and has nothing left to offer. Proof enough that without "serious" 3rd party support, you can't possibly satisfy the hardcore crowd. At least the Virtual Console offers a nice legal way to play a fairly good catalog of old games.

Maybe E3 will redeem them, but after last year I seriously doubt it.

I'd probably prefer the Wii as all my favorite series are confined to Nintendo mostly (Metroid, Starfy, Castlevania, Mega Man) albeit not completely. Though the Nintendo DS stands as my favorite system of all time.

I just got a 360 Friday, with Ultimate Alliance 2. Plan to get NBA 2k10 this week. But I'm over here all giddy over Xbox Arcade, playing both coin-op TMNT games, Bomberman Live. Nostalgia is a beautiful thing. Some of these old school $5 games are leaps and bounds beyond modern games.

I respect the PS3 but they need to step up. People have sworn that we need to "just wait" and PS3 would own all, but that is far from the case. At least their $300 commercial is funny. And Wii is cool, I'll play it, just no need to own one myself.

Oh absolutely. I don't judge anybody who has another system, I just ask them if they have another controller, and how to play. I am no fanboy of any of those companies, I enjoy competition. It makes better products.
