Why would you want to play a game, in SD?
Why would you want to play a game, in SD?
HD should be a system setting, not part of the game saves.
I don't but I'm gonna pass a while a my girlfriend house because she has to babysit her 13 year old bro for a while, so I was thinking brining my save over to continue it while at it lol
If you care about trophies at all, be sure to log in with your PSN on a different account and copying the save over on her PS3.
Update on the Sony vs LG case...
From kotaku.com
http://kotaku.com/#!5772549/european...on-3-shipments
Funny LG never said anything when sony engage on the format war against HDdvd and won and now this.Tens of thousands of PS3s were seized by customs officers last week in the Netherlands as part of an ongoing contentious court battle between LG and Sony, the Guardian reports.
A ruling by the civil court of justice in the Hague surrounding patents related to the playback of Blu-Ray discs means that all new PS3s have to be confiscated as they arrive in Europe for at least the next ten days, according to the report.
The Guardian reports that Sony usually has two to three weeks' worth of the consoles in stock across the continent, so the impact of the seizures may not be felt until next month.
Both companies have the right to dispute the ruling. LG could ask for the seizures to be extended while Sony could ask for the ban to be lifted.
If Sony is found to have infringed on LG's patents, it could cost the company hundreds of millions in compensation.
We have reached out to Sony for comment, but the company already told The Guardian that they are looking into the matter. LG declined to comment.
That's because this is a counter-suit. Sony sued LG first over some smartphone patents, and is trying to block their importation to the US.
Search really didn't bring up anything for me, I was wondering if anyone has experience with hacking a Wii to play copied games.
Our children scratched some of our game discs, and using a GameDR (not this model, but from the same company http://www.amazon.com/Game-Excelerat.../dp/B00057A2UQ) made the discs completely unreadable rather than the occasional problems they had before we used it >.> I do not want to pay 50$+ each to replace the 3-4 games this has happened to, since I already bought the games I figured downloading "backup" copies would be semi-legal.
Our Wii is a very old model, but it was updated to a fairly new firmware version recently when we played Epic Mickey. I've seen sites with a few different ways of making Wii systems play copied discs, but wanted advice from someone who has already done it if possible.

If it's a launch/very early model then I recommend Smash Stack if you have Brawl, and install Bootmii to OS2 (this is all in the instructions).
PSN gets a few PS1 titles this week

R4: Ridge Racer Type 4 – R4: Ridge Racer Type 4 keeps the arcade style intact with all of the powerslides and spinouts fans of the series have come to expect. You take the role of a professional driver in the Grand Prix mode. Pick one of four teams and one of four car manufacturers, and then race on eight tracks. Each team has its own storyline that plays out between races in conversations with your team liaison, and how well you finish changes what the liaison says to you.

Mega Man 3 – The bad news is that the evil Dr. Wily is back in town, but the good news is that so is the blue bomber Mega Man! Take the controls and make Mega Man run, jump, slide, and blast his way through two massive sections with four stages each.
Pretty sure all those Disney titles were on PSX already.
The PS Imports section kinda bugs me, especially with games like Mega Man. They have an extremely minimal amount of text, would it kill the group that's acquiring the publishing rights to these games to spend one weekend and making the menus readable?
Still waiting for Capcom to get off their ass and release Mega Man Legends 1 & 2 on PSN.
http://www.gamasutra.com/view/news/3...named_RUSH.phpA number of online casting calls for an "interactive project" suggest that the next installment of the Grand Theft Auto series is currently codenamed "RUSH".
Uncovered by internet sleuth Superannuation , the casting company is listed as Telsey + Company, a firm used in the past by Rockstar Games.
The list of characters appear very GTA-like indeed, including a "weed evangelist", a "paranoiac living in the sticks" and a "somewhat incompetent Chinese mobster".
The listings also suggest that the game will be set in modern times, with characters ranging from an "FPS playing gamer son" to a "disabled IT expert".
A resume for actress Shandar Robinson at Actors Access also features the RUSH name, along with an "Inner city female street" role from "Take 2 Games", which wholly owns Rockstar.
Analysts said recently that they believe GTA V will be announced sometime during the 2012 fiscal year, due to the upcoming expiration of Take-Two's contract with key Rockstar North staff.

I'm turning to you for advice BG. I got a 360 at launch and it only RROD'd on me once. I eventually got rid of it about a year ago when I bought a PS3, since I really didn't want to have 2 consoles (figured if I have less consoles I'll be forced to spend less money on games). Fast forward to now and my PS3 slim is busted (Bluray drive died). I figured I'd get a new one instead of fixing the old one since I thought the new ones were more reliable. I ended up buying and returning 2 PS3s since both made a loud whining noise that was extremely annoying when playing games and especially when watching a movie. I then just found a local shop and have since sent in my old busted PS3 to get repaired. I'm now contemplating getting rid of the PS3 and getting a 360 slim. My main issue was never which exclusives were better, but it was more about reliability issues. I wanted a console that was built to last, and at the time it looked like the PS3 was it. When I look online nowadays, I see very few people having issues with 360 slims, but the amount of PS3 problems is amazingly high. I had my 360 for almost 4 years and only had it die on me once, and was replaced for free. I have my PS3 for roughly a year and it's already gone in for repair, only now I have to pay for it. I'm just scared I'll drop $150 to get the PS3 fixed only to have the drive die again, since dead Bluray drives seems to be a very common issue. Any advice on what to do?
I can't answer for Xbox Slim, but I've had a Fat PS3 for over two years and I have never had any problems with it (even managed not to screw around during leap-year) and I have never heard about a noise complaint except from you and someone else on these boards (or was that you as well?) from any of the PS3s. In fact, my Fatty is nigh silent (which is sorta annoying because sometimes I forget to turn it off and don't realize it).
Plus, the slims for both consoles have been out for only a year-ish, right? Don't know if you'll learn about any long-term hassles for a little while, but I could be proven wrong.
Yeah, PS3's are generally silent or make pretty low noise, the only time you might hear it is when the fan kicks in to high. Broken bluray drives are pretty rare and it can be fixed by yourself by replacing the diode or the bluray drive itself. I've never had problems with mine, the only real problem was the overheating which caused yellow lights of death, which was pretty much fixed with the introduction of the slims which emit much less heat than the fatties. Newest Xbox S and the newest PS3 slims are probably pretty much on par with reliability right now. Your PS3 blurays are safer because they are highly scratch and crack resistant compared to DVDs, and the Xbox tray can scratch your discs rendering them unplayable if the console is moved on knocked. Xbox's no longer come with the RROD extended warranty so like with the PS3, if your console breaks after a year you'll have to pay to replace it.
So just get what you prefer at this point.
Wasn't expecting this to ever see the light of day: http://blog.us.playstation.com/2011/...-psn-march-29/

What about the trophy, do they come too or I have to go to trophy section?
You don't need to transfer trophy data from PS3 to PS3. They are linked to your account and is pulled from a cloud save.
