Microsoft is working with participating retailers to give high school and college students a free 4GB Xbox 360 with the purchase of any Windows PC priced at $699 or more. Nice. A Xbox 360 has nothing to do with school, but I'm sure all students will be glad to take one.

Microsoft has all the details here, but here's the summary: Students with an .edu email address can purchase a new PC through participating retailers including Dell.com, HP.com or the Microsoft Store. They will need to verify student status in order to purchase. Quantities are limited, mind you. Start shopping by May 22 to get in on this. Check in with your local retailers now.

We've seen plenty of handheld console mods, but only a few laptops -- most impressively, Ben Heck's sleek PlayStation 3 -- and PSHax member Pirate recently finished his water-cooled take on the notebook PS3. The cooling system replaces the stock heatsinks, allowing for a slimmer design, and one much more polished than the last water-cooled version we saw. Weighing in at 15 pounds, it's also got a built-in keyboard and speakers, a 500GB hard drive, and a 720p / 1080i screen. If this sounds like your type of machine, Pirate's put it on eBay, where it's currently heading north of $1,500. He's not looking to make a profit, promising that after costs a portion of the selling price will go to server expenses at PSHax, with another portion dedicated to tornado relief efforts in Joplin, Missouri. but RoF is the only one I played that was a slight disappointment. Good game at first, but once you get used to the battle system... the fights never change for the whole rest of the game.

RoF was a great game imo, sure it was simple once you got the hang of it. But the game system it's self is honestly like nothing else I've ever personally played.

SO4's story is very lack-luster, but the combat system was well refined and played well. But yeah after playing other Star ocean games, kinda getting bored with them especially with the not so interesting characters :<

Oh for sure, it's definitely something new and that's definitely a good thing. It's really neat learning it too but the thing about it is just that every fight is practically the same once you get it down. If it was more dynamic the game would have been a 9/10 in my books.

Which probably makes you excited for this new bit of news. EA and BioWare Mythic, the developers of the original Ultima 1: The First Age of Darkness, have announced the brand new legacy site, Ultimaforever.com. Adventurous players can visit there where EA has the classic Ultima IV ready for download for free. Unfortunately, the site doesn’t seem to be working at the moment, but EA promises to fill it with thirty years of legacy content. Players ready to try other Ultima games can head on over to GOG.com to check out some remastered Ultima goodness.

Wait.....what exactly is an online capable game? What Xbox game doesn't say "Live" in the top right corner...?

Not saying its not outselling the others, which anyone could guess. But if you think about it, calling the list for "online capable" games really only hurts the Wii, which would outdo both if the list had a more accurate title (aka All games)
