I'm hoping it has something comparable to a 1000 floor dungeon or w/e it was in the 1000 year door.

I love features like that, kinda like Cave of Ordeals, or the one in X-2.

Just finished Chapter 2 of Super Paper Mario... probably about 3 hours into it.

Game is fun as hell. Its old-school Mario platforming mixed with wacky dimensional warping. Switching to 3-D never seems to get old for me. Its fun to go "oh crap, the ceiling is falling, *3-D*, oh wait, I'm not even in the same plane as it, I'm cool."

RPGamer did a review on it the other day, said normal story lasts about 20 hours, but there are a lot of things to do to extend it. They gave it a 5/5. I havent beaten the the first lvl yet, I got glitched and died, it seems fun, but I dunno about 5/5 fun. Anyone that has a Wii needs to buy it though.

Yeah, that's in there. I stumbled into it on accident, cool stuff. Game's been fun so far, nothing 'WOW' but I really enjoy it.

At first I was a little irritated about having to go to the menu every time I needed to switch a character/pixl, until I found out the easy switch screen by pressing 1/2 at once. Now I have no complaints at all. The 2d/3d switch is pretty phenominal as you go through the areas, I just wish they had a bit more of an RPG flair to them. I kind of reminds me of the Adventure of Link, there's exp, but it's made through points you get and stuff, and there's never a "party". I played it for a few hours last night, I just got done with Chapter 2 before bed and watched the Luigi cs. I can't see the game being too long, but it is *really* fun.

I'm gonna be picking up SPM next week, after my wisdom teeth removal on Friday

Also, does anyone know when 360 Oblivion is going to be updated to make it look like the PS3 version?

I won some store credit at work, so I can get a new game for $10 of my own money, but I can't really decide. I've heard good things about Godfather: Blackhand Edition, and the RPG aspect sounds good, but I've heard tons of hype for Super Paper Mario, but never got into the series that much. What is a man to do?
    Super Paper Mario, ftw

God of War II was also nice, little let down at the end but room for expansion.

Godfather, personally I enjoyed it for the fact I love the Godfather movies, as a game, it was all right.

Trauma Center is always a good go, if your looking to more Wii titles, <3 stiching up people with random swipes of my wiimote

Is Trauma Center a good buy for the Wii if you already have it for the DS? I hear they're the same game.

Ditto 2.5 hours here, I played up until getting Peach. I love all the humor in the game:

"Red Cap, Blue Overalls, Level 5 mustahce, yep it's him!" I lol'ed

The game progresses very well, I love the pacing. I also really like the idea of the cards for each enemy so you do more damage to them.. the game is a blast!

it's more/less the same game, however I do find the Wii version a lot more fun as well as challenging with the Wiimote

one of my favorite moments is when you get Thoreau (great name btw) his little monologue is just priceless. sooo much fun and its funny to boot, and eye candy every second. love the stenciling effect they do whenever you get to a new area. my only gripe is so far it seems to be very linear (i stopped right at the save block before the princess peach CS) I hope it opens up a bit, I could see myself easily knocking out a chapter per sitting if they're the same length as chapter 1...all in all doesn't matter, can see myself already playing this again.

no idea when ill ever beat zelda now hah

Wii Trauma Center is more challenging and has new missions that are pretty hard to finish... definitely worth buying it.

It is def linear so far, but I really don't mind it, because there is always a lot to explore in each level with the 2d/3d switching. I just love how it is set up like old school Mario.
Did you get the question right with the Green Bridge guy? I told him the best color was Green and he knew I was lying and he kicked me out. When I went back in he wouldn't ask the question again, and I want to make sure I didn't miss out on an item.

I told him both colors (was trying to be democratic) did a flip and there was a "Green and Red" card behind the bed. not sure if you needed to answer the question right to get it though

Oxy mentioned Paper Mario is linear, not surprised as it's essentially a 2-d Side-scroller. It's not really a 3-D game, it's pretty limited(I played SPM briefly at electronics store). Overall Super Paper Mario is fun, brings back the oldschool Mario with some new flare.

Mario 64 was one of my favourite games for a long long time, and I'm hoping they go back to adopting the 3-D mario World which they had in Mario 64 for Mario Galaxy(I think they essentially are anyways).

I was talking about linear in a sense of expanding the storyline, some basic sidequests, and such. the thing i love about it, is it is, to some extent, an rpg, but at the core its just an old side scrolling mario, whats not to like?

(yeah...i did just binge for another hour or so before work )
