The background is always just a different color throughout the day. It will be nice if they make it so you can put any picture you want in the background. Kinda like the 360 does.

If you want to change your background open up the picture you want on the PS3 and press the PS button once and quick!!

Well, the option is there on the PSP and considering the interface is pretty much exactly the same, I just figured it would already be there but I guess they want to keep us hooked.

They said they will add it eventually, guess we'll have to wait.

It does change color throughout the day though, it's got lighter colors in the morning (orange, yellow, etc.), turns more blue-ish in the afternoon, and works its way towards gray and then black at night.

I'll be very happy when they add it since I've already got some nice HD backgrounds copied to the HDD to cycle through.

Ps3 version 1.7 was last night, Rumble feature was added to the ps3 controller as an optional usage?

PS3 controller doesn't have any rumbling hardware inside of it... I think they meant that if you hook up the ps2 controller to your ps3 (with that accessory thing they sell) then the rumbling will work.

Also, they could be referring to Logitech's steering wheel since it already has rumble features enabled for GT:HD. I'm fairly certain that Sony will start putting out the Six Axis controller with rumble brought back into the mix.

The only part I don't like about that is that after you put the picture to the background, it basically is reading from the USB drive or your HDD if you copied it to your HDD. If you do anything like F@H, then it cancels the viewing and reverts back to the original background image. >< I can't wait till swapping backgrounds is supported.

But yes, Panzer Dragoon Orta is awesome. It's one of the few XBox games I have.

Also I went to Wal-Mart today, and they had 360 Elites for sale... 10 days early. I know POIDH, but I had no camera on me, sorry.

Basically, i'm going to sell my 360 and put the money in store credit and try my luck on the 29th... if I get it, cool. If not, i'm just going to ignore the 360 for a while and maybe rebuy one later when Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey come out if they're worth it.

The way I see it, I have nothing of particular interest on my HDD atm, since I sold most of my games and the saves for the games I do have aren't that important. And I don't really play my 360 anymore, especially since i'm stuck with KH2:FM and the DMC games atm with my ps2/3, and SPM with the Wii... and with my limited hours dedicated for games each week, I can't really keep this up with all 3 consoles, but if I do get a hold of an elite i'm going to grab it... if not, just going to lay off until more ship/just forget about the 360 completely if none will ship.




EDIT: Oh, and they're paying 25 dollars for the HD, and 190 for the Pro 360 w/ controller and cables and everything.... so about 215 total, i'll prob get more if I sell the games I currently have (only SDvRAW07 that I haven't played in months and the new Winning Eleven that quite honestly sucks.)

I'd check your local stores now. Someone posted an Elite on eBay from BestBuy or Target (forget which), and like I said my walmart already has them out for sale... Check around and you might be able to get one now.
