DS vs. PSP belongs in this thread too I guess, so thats cool.

I think they released another DBZ fighting game on the PSP after that one, called Another Road, no idea if its any better though. I know a lot of people had problems with it, but the budokai tenkachi or w/e games on the PS2 were my favorite. Combined free roaming/flight w/ most of the mechanis of the budokai series.

Tenkaichi 2 is a game that I can sit down and play with one of my friends for 4 or more hours in one sitting.

We just play Free battle after free battle, I equipped every single one of the characters to maximize their health and defense basically, so the fights last as long as possible.

Yeah, that was confirmed with the Summer lineup a few weeks ago.

It's a shame Metroid won't be getting the nex-gen graphics treatment on the Wii like it could on the other two.

I'm not knocking the game... it looks pretty good..

You can't honestly say "graphics aren't everything" on this particular game here, it could get a serious steroid shot being on a nex-gen machine. And it has potential to really stand out from every other shooter.

I'm more excited about the new controls. Whats the point in playing the same game with prettier graphics. Its a shame the PS3 has last-gen gameplay with new-gen graphics. And at the rate the Wii is outselling its competition, its graphics are more current-gen then the competition, since you actually have to have a playerbase before discussing a consoles power. See, I can do it too.

Metroid Prime had fuckin great graphics man. Just as good as any PS2 or Xbox game at the time, and up until the last gen was over. Those graphics are plenty for a game like this.

I don't need GoW level graphics for everything. MP has always had a great graphical style.

thats how i look at everything graphically on the Wii. sure its not the BEST graphics out there, but the games have a sense of visual style that the designers want it to have. second part of this summer is gonna be sick for anyone with a Wii...madden 08, Boogie (I think it looks awesome, im gonna check it out for sure), and Metroid Prime. gonna have to squeeze in a lot of gaming before the fall semester starts.

I don't care really about Metroid being on the Wii because their art-style has always been nice. It will look good. And besides, if anyone had to pick 1 FPS that they wanted to play for the Wii, this would be it.

After playing RE4 Wii Edition, I'm not sure I'd choose better graphics over better controls for that type of game. I'm pretty sure the casual gamer would choose control over graphics as it's much easier to pick up. So I'm pretty sure it'll be all that it can be unless 360 or the ps3 is coming out with a waggle wand sometime soon.

Exactly. RE4 is the most fun I have had on the 3 new consoles in a long time. It really feels like House of the Dead with the on screen game aiming. And overall it is just a blast.

Aside from that, I was also thinking today while playing that the graphics are plenty for the gameplay. They were excellent graphics 2 years ago when the game was released, and still are very good graphics today.

And about Metroids graphics, this is all I really have to say. The most fun I've had with a videogame was 2 days ago at the movie theater, playing an Area 51 type gungame for 20 minutes before the movie started with a friend. It was probably a 10 year old game, graphics were substandard, but something about goofing around with a gungame was entertaining. And thats what games should be about, how entertaining they are. Graphics mean shit in comparison to pure fun.
