3 Version of Khimaira hmm.

after playing with AltanaView. i found out that there is 3 Version of Khimaira.

you can there is onyl 2 PC bcz the 3rd Khimaira has none, sorry to ask but i know the 1st one is the one from BC, is the 2nd one the HNM or is the HNM the same color as the 1st one?

but yes i believe the HNM one is different from the BCNM one, specially since one is Khimaira and the other is Khimaira 13?

The first one looks like the HNM (he's a tad lighter) and the 2nd one is the bcnm i believe.

the BC one is smaller I believe, that would explain the difference, the third one might be a placeholder for a besieged version or a cutscene only one

I remember seeing a modelviewer image of a Khimaira that looked quite different from the above 2 images, either on these forums or my LS's forums. It was before Khimaira HNM-version was released, and to be honest I can't remember what the BC one looked like from doing the mission, if it was either of the above.

Edit: Nevermind they are the same two as above, just that they were taken in different poses emphasizing their differences.

Just have to leave the NQ up for 9-12 hours and it becomes Khimairochelone and drops a sword that occasionally attacks twice that blue mages can't use.

If the third Khimaira has no model, then it's not Khimaira. It's not like the JP guy who writes AltanaView is god now and decides what empty model files are going to be. In fact, I think the .lst files are actually rough translations of the original Japanese ones by some guy, and the copy of the AltanaView website is just a mirror.

It's possible that there will be a Khimaira with a new skin model in Hazhalm Testing Grounds (it's mentioned as a factory for developing chimeras in mission 23 i think).

Its also possible that one of those "versions" is just a cutscene model.

Example: Bahamut has several .DAT models, but only includes his battle animations.

I was wondering why he said that, it confused the hell out of me. I dont know if there will be any more Khim mobs, we havn't seen Cerb or Hydra reused, then again maybe the Khimaira theme will be reocurring in the storyline and we'll see more. /shrug

The thingy around his neck is different in the two version. I went and looked up some SS... The HNM seems to be the ver1, so the BC is prob ver2.

I think only 1 skin is used for both No.1 (Hediva) and No.13 (Halvung). SE has a good shot of No.13 which is clearly the first model. Here it is. The shot that the wiki uses is kinda hard to see it. Someone should get a better picture.

EDIT: It is possible that we will see Khimairas 2-12 in Hazhalm, along with hydras and other chimeras. Cerberus could belong to a whole family of underworld creatures.
